4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 CiroFerrara (85) - USA - APR 11, 2006
Great American Dark Lager brewed by Mahou - surely the best beer that I have had until now in the country of eternal sun. Very nice head and the colour simply is fantastic - brown / black. Incredible mild stouty flavour...

Mi cerveza negra favorita, suave y con cierto gusto a chocolate y café.
La mejor de la casa Mahou.

Bottle 33cl. Pours a nice hazel head. Disappears, but with a layer. Nice dark maple sirup color, small bubbles. Aroma of wood and malt. Taste of chocolate and malt, kind of chalky. Up there.

Very smooth, hint of licorice in there and surprisingly un-gassy for a bottled beer. Something I always look out for when in Spain. can’t seem to find it over in the UK

Reddish brown color. Nice head, good lacing. Sweet, malty aroma. The flavor is full of espresso roasted malt and a sweet licorice finish. The best Spanish beer I've had.
