Reddish brown color. Nice head, good lacing. Sweet, malty aroma. The flavor is full of espresso roasted malt and a sweet licorice finish. The best Spanish beer I've had.

Bottle. Nice coffee malt aroma with slight esters. Dark brown color with good head. Sweet creamy chocolate malt flavor but not too sweet - well balanced. One of the best Spanish beers I found - actually tasted like a beer.

I like stouts and dark beers for the most part. I just got back from a vacation to The Canary Islands. I drank quite a few of these. It was the best beer to choose from, in my opinion. Itís got a solid flavor thatís still easy on the palate. Itís sweet, but thatís how I like my beers. The finish lasted nice and long. I could taste the toffee in this one. Certainly a great beer to enjoy!

Aroma: Some Ovaltine malt drink at first, hazel nut, sweet, malty bread, a little burnt molasses. Palate: Sweet but not cloying. Flavor: Nutty, sweet, malty bread, molasses, yeast. Finishes a bit drier than it starts with bitter cocoa, molasses and slightly burnt coffee. Comment: Better than I expected. For me itís best drunk cold so as to keep the sweetness in check. I liked the evolution of sweet attack to a less sweet finish.

Bottle from Intermarche supermarket, Budens, Portugal. An extremely dark brown beer with red fruity and chocolate flavours, nutty notes and a roasted coffee on the very dry finish.

330ml botlle in Grand Canaria. Strong roasted taste. Really good after getting used to it. I recommend.

Light to slightly medium bodied. Touch of cacao and coffee, though there is definitively also a hint of licorice. Well balanced. Kind to the mouth, little foam. Drinks away quickly. Nothing (that) special.

bottle 330 mL. lots of roasted malts aroma, very dark beer, mild bitterness with nuts and roasted malts with a touch of coffee, dry finish with a very mild metallic in the aftertaste. not bad but i rather some others a bit cheaper.
