Bottle. Light orange colour. Tiny white head yet a good deal of carbonation. Malty and hoppy aroma. Begins sweetly, gets increasingly bitter. Earthy notes. Finish of average duration. Good.

Clean gold with a thin white head. Sweet and malty with some faint toffee. Slight sweetness in the finish. Bland as hell but it’s reasonably well balanced and very drinkable.

Aug 9, 2008 (6/31/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Clear deep golden. Aroma is a bit vague with some malt. Sweetish flavor with a bit of butterscotch hints and a very short lightly dry finish. Medium-bodied

Aug 9, 2008 Bottle at GBBF 08. Clear gold with a cereal aroma. Soft and delicate with a balanced taste. A bit bland and forgettable though.

Aug 5, 2008 Bottle. Grassy, lightly citric nose with a faint yeast-wisp. Slightly hazy yellow pour with a short off-white head. Taste is strongly bitter with some hard hopping and wood, astringent but not redeeming, sweet pale malt and a touch of lemon, most of the grassy notes departed. Touch of hay, very nice chalky character. Medium body. Ok.
