Real_Ale_Dave (45), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Aug 7, 2007 Hazy straw gold. Huge, extremely fine bright white head settles stickily to full, complete cap.
Nose is sharp, fresh, herbal, German hops soaring over a base of rich, fresh baked white bread. Classic Pils here. Just gorgeous.
Even better in the mouth, where the rich, roundness of the malt makes first impact, only to be sliced by the hop bitterness in the midpalate. Both joust back and forth through the long, long finish. Magic.
Great roundness to the mouthfeel. This fills every nook and cranny with delicious goodness, and simply slides down the throat. I could drink this beer forever, and die with a smile on my face.
On draft. In my kegerator.

I found this idea very true until my friend and I participated in a blnd tasting....we love this pilsner - subtle spiciness, grass, and a refreshment that beers of this style are supposed to give your palate. roner77 (35), Portland, Oregon, USA Apr 25, 2006 Unlike any Pils I’ve had. The aroma is Sweet. The taste is complex for a Pils. Lots of grass and sweet malt, yet also bitter hops. The beer finishes slightly bitter and crisp. I like this stuff. thedm (3289), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Dec 26, 2005 This bottled brew poured a large sized head of frothy fine to large sized long lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a good lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent with yeast swirls and light yellow brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild malt hop yeast . Its mouth feel is initially slightly tingly smooth thick with a lingering slightly tingly palate and a smooth aftertaste. Its flavor contained nice malty with mild hops and doughy notes and was greta for a pilsener but uncharacteristically good. All-in-all very nice brew. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA Oct 12, 2004 0.5l bottle. How to rate this? Why is this rated so low? as a homebrewer, this is close to what I would like a pils to be. And if you are looking for a pils, I would recommend this one. But nonetheless....Pours clear pale yellow with floaties, and a rich, rocky white lasting head. Aroma has hops, a touch of sulfur, and a malty note. Flaor is rich and malty, with a rather gentle hoppiness. A llittle less hops than I would prefer, but still tasty as far as a pils goes. Very drinkable, and I could make an afternoon drinking session with this.
