COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Weisse Bock is an increasingly popular style that is strong and very tasty – with all of the fruity, spicy flavors one expects from a wheat beer, and more – but never too heavy on the palate. This rich, dark, and enthralling Bock is refreshing and drinks so easily that one would never suspect that it weighs in at 7.2% a.b.v. If you appreciate Aventinus, try Der Weisse Bock.

Bottle from Sloth. Clouded maroon body with a nice off white head. Aroma is bread with plum and banana. Flavor is rich banana and raisin with some cherry. Slight cream note in the fruit and yeast finish.

Pours a dark coppery near brown color, topped with an average off-white head. Mild malty aroma, some sweet wheaty notes, and some candy aroma too - weird. Sweet taste, some hints of wheat presence, moderate bitterness. Nothing really stands out, still drinkable and mild..

500ml bottle. Probably ancient. Pours reddish brown with a messy looking ehad and lots of yeast floaties. Aroma has resisted oxidaiton, it is raisins, banana, and caramel. Flavor is a bit stale, very dry finish, some crackery malt, bittersweetness, and dark fruits.

0,50 bottle purchased in Rome-ITALY and consumed in Serbia. It pours a great cloudy chestnut skin color, medium tick ivory foamy head. Nose: malts, ham, sandwich bread with bacon. Mouth: chewing liquid bread, medium low carbonation, hidden caramel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Bierstube. Very dark amber pour that starts with a strong slim off-white head. Fragrant Weisse Bock. Toasted raisin bread. Dark malts and dark red fruits. Chocolate toffee plums and prunes. Cherry cordials. Burnt toast. Dried blueberries. Maybe a touch too sweet. Also tasting some pleasant (but unexpected) sour notes - though it could be an old bottle. Fuller, juicier flavor than the Aventinus but less refined.

500 ml bottle into weizen glass, 4880 bottle code. Pours very hazy/cloudy dark brown color with a 1 finger dense khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big caramel, toffee, toast, raisin, plum, fig, date, banana, chocolate, brown sugar, dark bread, molasses, clove, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Fantastic aromas with incredible complexity and balance of big dark/bready/roasted malt and fruity/earthy yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big caramel, toffee, toast, raisin, plum, fig, date, banana, chocolate, brown sugar, dark bread, molasses, clove, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Fair amount of earthy yeast spice on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toffee, toast, raisin, plum, fig, date, banana, chocolate, brown sugar, dark bread, molasses, clove, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity and robustness of dark/bready/roasted malt and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; with a great malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an incredible weizenbock style. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready/roasted malt and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

Draft at SIB07. Straw hints with spice. Hints of darker fruits and holiday spice with a low bitterness on the flavor. Pretty good!

Clear brown colour with a thin head. Dark fruit, sugar and sweet aroma. Taste is alcohol carbonated, banana and toffee. A little bitter in the end and in the aftertaste. Next one please!
