Orangenes Bier, das neben der obligatorischen Weizen- auch eine Orangennote hat. Vollmundiger Antrunk, guter Malzkörper. Im Geschmack leicht säuerlich (Citrus, Orange) und rezent (Nelke). Auch der Hopfen im Abgang ist prägnant. Gute Festtags Weisse!

Draught at Zly Casy. Prague. Cloudy golden/grey beer with a very nice lasting offwhite head. Banana aroma, fruity, wheat, spicy notes. Banana flavor, wheat, peppery notes, hoppy, metallic, some apples. Fruity finish.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2012 Drafted at Klub Malych Pivovaru on Pilsen.Medium sized white head.Bubblegum, Banana cream pie aroma.You expect a very fruity, creamy flavor from the aroma but you don’t get much of ether.A bit creamy at first but after a couple seconds,you get a not so pleasant after taste.A decent wheat beer at best.

on tap at klub malych pivovaru, good on petr for getting some more bamberg stuff on. very appealing golden, simultaneously bright and hazy, persistent rocky head; aroma of clove, artificial banana and busy laundromat; luscious texture; hints of peach nectar, vanilla and some powdered bitterness. very drinkable

(bottle) Orange to amber color, cloudy. Smells of ripe bananas. Taste is drier than expected, which I appreciate. Medium bodied. Short finish. Aroma reminds me of orange peel with a touch of bananas. Malts and yeasty aroma not too dominant. More intense than many Hefeweizen I have had before. Therefore not an ideal thirst quencher for summer, but a nice treat when thirst is not the primary motive. And indeed a very good Hefeweizen for festive days (hence the name, apparently).
