A lot of taste for lager. No head, light colour, slightly hoppy aftertaste.

Nettes Helles ohne große Höhepunkte. Ein wenig buttrig, dazu eine milde Säure. Dafür im Aroma etwas Vanille und recht wenig Getreide. Süffig, mild, vollkommen in Ordnung.

Bottle from Fristo Getränkemarkt in Bamberg. The beer has got a deep golden colour with an steady head and medium body. Aroma of hops and straw. Taste of mild hops, hay, straw, mild fruits and light malt. Hints of dust. Solid and drinkable beer, yet nothing special.

(Bue directement au pub): Les céréales donnent le ton rapidement et forme un croute mielleuse qui gagne en intensité au fur et à mesure. Chlorophylle et vents herbacés emballent le tout pour une bête de soif réussie.

stale bread aroma, pale gold with no head, strong malt flavour and quite rich tasting. a bit bland to be honest.

500ml bottle in the biergarten of the brewpub. Decent white head almost blanketing the glass as it goes down, Clear golden coloured body. Noble hops and pale malts on the nose. Taste of buttery malts with a touch of citrus fruits towards the ending. Soft in the mouth. On par for the style (Bamberg 10.10.2014).

My Bottom Line:
Cuddly cereals are lifted by cushiony carbonation, followed by an increasingly adorable herbal hop bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sliver of foam surfs the clear gold.
-It begins almost watery, then malts kick in and hops join in to sink into the palate for the duration of the pint.
-This is süffig to the max. Hard to resist a second seidla!
-Complexity is nowhere to be seen here. What matters is all ingredients are clearly expressed, the mouthfeel is very agreeable and desire to have more in definitely there!

On tap at the brewery.

Tap at Max’s. Pours clear amber with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with no lacing. Aroma is biscuit and Pils malt, light earthy and spicy hops. Flavor is sweet malt, light hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body and light carbonation.

In bottiglia. Aroma di cereale, miele millefiori. aromi intensi e puliti, fini. Al palato scorre ovviamente veloce con un corpo esile. Ritroviamo il dolce del cereale e miele ben bilanciati da un amaro appena percettibile che rende la birra equilibrata e pulita.

330ml bottle as ’Vollbier’, thanks to Clutch the band! Pours golden yellow with white head. Crisp pale malts, moderately sweet, grassy notes, standard German helles.
