Tap @ At the keller. Pours Clear golden with a white head. Aroma citrus, light fruits, a light dusty note, quite heavy on the malts - Lots of caramel, light minerals. Simple but decent!

Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is really clean with a nice malty, even slight honey sweetness. Taste is also malty but not too sweet, just well balanced. Slightly hoppy finish. I really like the mouthfeel on this one, light body but smooth and just the right amount of carbonation. This is a really well made, extremely drinkable helles.

Bottle from Damian. Clear deep golden colour, quickly dissipating head. Aroma and taste are both mostly hoppy initially, with quite strong lightstruck character. Eventually it mellows into a soft grainy maltiness. Remains easy drinking throughout. Good after all.

on tap @ Mahrs Brau / Bamberg Germany --- Clear light amber color, white head, freckles of lace. Taste is slightly bitter malt that has very light fizz followed by decidedly assertive medium floral hops. The hops create a problem, not because they are strong, but because they don’t match well with the malt. It doesn’t work for me.

Clear golden color with creamy white head. Aroma is sweetish malty, hay, and a bit of dusty cellar. Taste is pale malts, cereal, a bit citric, grassy, but with emphasis on the malt sweetness, grassy, flowery. Slightly bitter finish. Natural carbonation. A solid Helles.

I don’t know how this beer can only be ranked as 46. Nice and lasting white head, very bright color. Medium Carbonate with pleasant thin "perlage". At the nose herbal, slight malty notes. Perfect palate for an "hell" with balance between herbal bitternes and sweet malty notes. Slight yeasty but... it isn’t an industrial one so very close to the traditional taste. From Franconia with Love. (50 cl.)
