5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
I don’t know what you guys are talking about, this beer is fantastic. a wee bit bitter, Tunes of Glory, some citrus hints. This could be my everyday beer, ’cept for it’s brewed in Germany and I am stuck here in Arizona.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I unwittingly picked up the finest beer in the RateBeer Low Alcohol category. 7-05 bottling date. Very pale clear yellow, an almost greenish tinge, decent head faded slow, tiny bubbles. Faint aroma of hay. Light, clean flavors of gentle grain and a bit of hay. Nothing off or offensive, strikingly refreshing in fact. Very nicely done, sort of a German Mild I suppose.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Whole Foods, Baton Rouge, La. - 1 pt .9 fl oz bottle. Pours a murky, cloudy, kinda-urine sample-like light golden with a decent silky white head. Aroma is funky, slightly skunky with a hint of mint to even it out just a bit. Flavor has some metallic notes with some fading cereal notes. Not overbrimming with flavor. Very artificial and tired tasting. Mouthfeel is starchy. Not the best German low-alco out there.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
i couldn’t believe this is 2.8 %. very flavorful and tasty for this alcohol level. pale yellow w/ off white head, this beer is pretty. it’s also malty and well balanced. a very interesting brew.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This pours an extremely pale yellow with continual, lively carbonation and sports a fluffy head that does some solid lacing. The aroma is a sweet bready malt with a minimist’s amount of floral/herbal hops. The bready malt is light but present in the flavor, and the hops come forward in the finish. Actually not bad for a 2.8% abv.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
One of the lightest colored beers I’ve seen in a long time, with a prototypical bright white German white head. Little aroma and only a mellow sweet malt base. Good enough hop finish. Better good for such a low alcohol beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very light gold, puffy white head. Nose slightly bready, faint whiff of malts. Better taste than expected, malty and sticky, some lemony hints, decent hoppiness at the end. Most light beers taste like watered-down crappy lagers. This one tastes like a watered-down good lager. For a light beer, it’s pretty dang good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice light straw color, small white head that had a decent hangtime then faded to leave little behind.Light grainy aroma with a pleasant lemony smell coming through,to go along with it’s sort of sweet side.Theres kind of a slight bitter malty side at first then it quickly changes to a sweet lemony flavor with a nice carbonation that manages to make the brew some what more pallatable.Over all it’s not a bad brew at all, very easy to drink with the Low Alcohol and a nice thirst quencher for a hot summer day.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Got a slightly skunked bottle. Very light yellow color with a large white head. Aroma and taste has a little malt. Overall, a little better than most macro lagers. Might be rated higher if not skunky.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very pale straw. Zippy carbonation. Lightly sulfury nose, house lager nose, with a touch of hops. Thinnish body, but definitely more than a macro light, or even a macro regular. Clean dry finish, with a decent amount of hop flavor. Certainly not as attractive as some of the more full bodied german lagers, even from Mahr’s, but judged against the drinkability and the alcohol content this one’s a real winner.
