3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500mL bottle. Poured light-medium golden with a short, dense white head. The aroma picked up toasted bread and honey malts with earth and lesser citrus accents.. clean and well-balanced. The flavor found similar stuff.. bready notes, honey, and a kiss of molasses at the core, with light grainy citrus and toasted earthy notes around.. somewhat tart citrus and tasty sweeter malts on the long finish. Light-medium bodied with nice, creamy carbonation on the palate.. smooth feel and flow.. nice one!

Bottle-purchased at Broadway Liquors in Oklahoma City, OK
Pours hazy orange hue with a nice soapy white head what has effervescent carbonation the whole time. Nose is spicy, slightly woody, slightly skunky (but not in a bad way), lots of grains and grass. Flavors of husky slightly toasted grains, slight mineral note, lots of spicy german hops yet balanced well with the husky malt tones. This is a fantastic example of this style. could be very session-able if the price was right.

Maybe my father is Tom Landry. That would explain my strong chin and my love for the flex defense. I wonder if I would call him dad or coach. Nah who am I kidding? I would call him sir.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy light orange with minimal head. Rather eatery with soft flowery smell. Light malt bread aroma. Taste is soft white bread with a light banana and pear flavor. Pretty damn decent. A tad sweet or could use some more carbonation to break it up. Otherwise yum.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2015 4 oz pour from tap into sniffer at 42 degrees. Nose wheaty and a little grassy. Medium body. Crisp. Dry. Kind of a cab sav taste without any of the grape sweetness. A beer for a hot day.
