Draft at the Mahr’s Brau. A less than stellar Pils. Very light yellow with a good lacing head. Hoppy aroma with a bitter after taste. I only had one at the Brau changing to the better Dunkel.

Vom fass @ Keller. Straw colour, thick head. Herbal hop aroma with light pale malt. Crisp bitterness and a breezy malt character. Well-balanced and clean.

Draft @ keller. Medium yellow capped by a thick white head. Fresh hoppy aroma had more an orange, lemon profile than most Frankenbier. A bright citrus fruity fresh aroma. Palate is a little thin, and the flavors don’t completely deliver on the aromas but it is still a clean, refreshing, dry, and drinkable pils.

50cl bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear yellow with a off white creamy head. Floral hops, grain and hay. Medium and smooth palate. Nice crisp and clean with a dry hoppy bitterness. Tasty

Cloudy gold wiht a thin white head. Aroma of malt and lemony hops. Taste has a nice light bitterness and citrus palate. A bit of metallic taste in the finish. Not nearly as hoppy as my favorite pilseners, but still refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with a one finger fizzy white head. Nose is earthy hops and light malt. Taste is biscuit malt, light hops and honey with a metallic dry finish. Mouth feel fits the style. Pretty good Pilsner.

500ml bottle, pours a clear straw gold with some effervescence, the pour turns hazy from sediment that is in the bottle, has a small white head that falls quickly, aroma of pilsner malt, bread and some malt sweetness, small citrus and faint grass fragrances, light flavor of pilsner malt and bread with a good bitterness and sour on the tongue, bitterness lingers a bit after the finish, more bitterness and citrus sour then I expected, has a medium mouth feel or a bit less, medium carbonation, not sure how fresh this sample is, it does not taste off but I wonder what a sample from the tap would taste like.
