| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 25, 2005 floral scent, but grassy and dry and almost watery
and not all that smooth nor refreshing, even with food. Light sweetness ,contained in a bulk of soapiness. Metallic drying bitter aftertaste. I’ve had better homebrewed pils. Braudog (3753), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 19, 2005 Poured with a different look for a German pils ... hazy orange-yellow, with a less airy head. This has a more lemony aroma and smoother texture than most pilsners, almost with a lemon-soap tinge. Not the crisp starchy beer you may expect. Suttree (2708), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 22, 2005 Cloudy yellow, big white head. The aroma is, well, beery. I don’t know how else to say it. It just smells like beer, y’know? Beer. That’s what it smells like. Surprisingly full bodied and heavy, with a hint of mellow sweetness (Doesn’t that sound like some 70’s AM radio lite rock band? "Next up, with ’Baby, I think You’re Pretty’, is Mellow Sweetness"). Anyway, finishes with surpringly unrefined hop bite. BeerAteHer (384), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 3, 2005 Pale golden yellow color with a small head. Aroma is bready with a touch of hops. Flavor is fundamental but refreshing, with a rugged hops bite and a malt finish. Seems to be some lemony citrus elements in there. Rather simple beer but perhaps a good example of the pale pilsner style.
