Cooked corn DMS aroma, farily strong. Light fruity hops in aroma as well. Metallic tinge to the flavor. Watery mouthfeel.

Nice slightly fruity and sweet flavor, with a perfect bitter hop finish. Just enough hops to let you know they’re there.

On tap. Light golden color with decent sized white head. Very light with a little bitter hoppiness. I find that Mahrs beers make excellent session beers.

Bread aroma w/ some saaz. Taste is fairly dry, with citrusy saaz. Pretty good pilsener.

Cloudy golden color, with a few yeasty glubuals floating around. The head was small and white fading quickly to a light lace.Nice malty mild hop aroma with a slight citrus hint, and some what sweet.Light malt and wheat taste with a little lemon, lemon grass and very mild hop presence.Light feeling and fairly drinkable. Not a great brew but fairly decent and worth trying again.

Bottle. Light hazy golden yellow. Malt, honey, some hops in the aroma. Could maybe use some more hop bite, but is a nice well balanced and drinkable pilsener.

A little bit skunky and papery, and so much carbonation that it seemed harsh. Grassy at the finish, but harsh, papery and grainy otherwise
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 jaymobrown (1508) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 11, 2003
Rye, glue nose. Wet paper taste. Some malt rye flavors. Slight bitterness in the end. Too much fizziness that ruined the palate near the end.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 14, 2003
16.9 oz bottle, pils glass, 52 degrees. Average, white, fizzy head diminishes quickly and sits on a pale yellowgrain body that is slightly hazy with vigorous carbonation. Toasted light bread and grain malt (mod); perfume, grass hops (mod); doughy yeast (light). My overall impression is that the aroma is crisp, light, and clean. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter flavor becomes a lightly sweet, moderately bitter finish. Efficient toasted grain malt backs up spicey, citric saaz hops. Watery texture, fizzy cabonation, medium-light body. The bottom line is: a tasty pilsner, but a bit expensive for what it is.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Schroppfy (2350) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - AUG 6, 2003
A little haze - unfiltered? Quite bright yeelow, frothy, not very tight head. Great aroma (saazy?), very light mouthfeel, only a trace of malt sweetness, pretty well balanced - ultimately, I think it is well made but not challenging at all. Touch of corniness unfortunately. Yes, a bitter finish, but good to my taste.
