Draught at "Fermento" in Brescia.
Golden limpid color, much clear with a very modest and lught bubbly aspect. Good head of hardly resistance. Not much perfumed, light motes of grains and cereals, grassy, soft malty. A little smooth taste, not much prickly, little watery, modest bitter and good alcohol content.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 wlajwl (1479) - Iowa, USA - MAR 2, 2011
Normal edge of most pilsners isn’t here, this pilsner is more rounded and balanced, a good lager, although different from most pilsners.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ogivlado (4275) - Zagreb, CROATIA - FEB 28, 2011
Bottled 500ml. -Shared with Marko. Golden coloured, medium sized white head, few streams of carbonation, dusty and a bit salty nose. Malty, grainy and unfortunately metallic with mild hoppy finish. So-so pils, pitty for that metal.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Marko (2977) - Split, CROATIA - FEB 15, 2011
Bottle at Patrick’s Irish Pub, Ljubljana Poured a golden body with a persistent medium sized white head. Slightly dusty herbal nose, a bit grainy and creamy. Nice maltiness in the taste that runs into a wall of metal that completely engulfs it. Slightly creamy and grainy but yeah, mostly metal. Meh.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Leighton (3598) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2011
Draft at the Euston Tap. Pale yellow pour with a medium, white head. Pale, biscuity malts on the nose with faint, floral hops. Pleasant enough flavor, not too sweet with notes of crispy bread and light, earthy bitters. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Mostly clean to finish with subtle hops biting and some lingering, sugary malts. Pretty good.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 flavio_b (210) - ROME, ITALY - JAN 7, 2011
One of the very first German pilsner I’ve drunk at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà! It left me a very good memory and I’ll never forget it. I bought it again recently and I was satisfied again. Grass hop, persistant froth, easy to drink and not very complex. It’s very light and refreshing. Good if you don’t want to drink something "demanding".
