2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 jonas (4506) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - JUN 4, 2003
Straw golden, low carbonation, low head.
Tilts pretty much over to the malt side. Flat sticky mouthfeel, really needs the zing off bitterhops to be refreshing.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Braudog (4473) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - JUN 19, 2005
Poured with a different look for a German pils ... hazy orange-yellow, with a less airy head. This has a more lemony aroma and smoother texture than most pilsners, almost with a lemon-soap tinge. Not the crisp starchy beer you may expect.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - APR 19, 2005
10 ounce draft at American Flatbread, Burlington. Translucent, luminous gold, big head with no stability...faintest grassy nose, bit of caramel shows up late...fairly hoppy, tingly dry body, bits of sugary sweetness under the surface, malt rather restrained...ordinary.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ogivlado (4275) - Zagreb, CROATIA - FEB 28, 2011
Bottled 500ml. -Shared with Marko. Golden coloured, medium sized white head, few streams of carbonation, dusty and a bit salty nose. Malty, grainy and unfortunately metallic with mild hoppy finish. So-so pils, pitty for that metal.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Svesse (4215) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - FEB 18, 2006
(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, Feb 17) Golden yellow colour with big frothy head. Nose is malty, bready with hints of grass and butter. Taste is malty, bready with a long, very dry and bitter finish. A school book example of a classic german pils.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 thedm (4118) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 26, 2005
This bottled brew poured a large sized head of frothy fine to large sized long lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a good lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent with yeast swirls and light yellow brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild malt hop yeast . Its mouth feel is initially slightly tingly smooth thick with a lingering slightly tingly palate and a smooth aftertaste. Its flavor contained nice malty with mild hops and doughy notes and was greta for a pilsener but uncharacteristically good. All-in-all very nice brew.
