Poured a hazy yellow/amber with a medium-small white head. Aroma of apples and bread. Some yeast and malt as well. Taste is sweet and with citrus. Doughy palate with a good amount carbonation. Aftertaste of lemon, rice and skunk. Flavorful, but different flavors than most beers of the style. Decent hefe.

Cloudy dark banana yellow liquid with a sadly dissipating head. The bottle started to slowly gush on me when I uncapped it, but the head faded to almost nothing after a minute. I like the look of the liquid quite a bit, though. The aroma is very good with some sweet bananas mixed with clove and coriander. The flavor is similar with a healthy bitter bite at the finish. I actually wish that the beer was a bit less biting and a bit stronger, but then I dearly love Weihenstephan’s version. The feel isn’t quite right with the bitterness and a touch of astringency. The really unfortunate thing is that the good hefe flavors are in there, but they just get overshadowed by the problems.

Bottle. Very cloudy, light yellow color. Light head. Decent aroma of malt and yeast, with clove and citrus, slightly sour. Strong malt taste, slightly sweet, but also with a sour streak, lots of cloves and spice. Slightly dry finish. Very good weiss, though not amazingly interesting.

A cloudy hazy orangish body with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, banana, wheat, and spices. Taste of the same but a lot lighter. This was nice and refreshing after a round of golf with the wife. I ened up adding alittle lemon to it. Refreshing

(bottle - 500 ml) Hazy golden pour with a mound of white foam. Aroma is tart and sour with strong hints of wheat, lemon, and some other fruits. Sour lemon flavor at the beginning with a dry and sour wheat note near the middle. Finishes crisp and lightly sour and tart. Different.
