3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 pivnizub (7022) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - OCT 8, 2008
Bottle: Hazy, deep golden, small, slowly diminishing loose off-white head; ripe sweet bananas, accompanied by dusty wheat in the nose; sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; the acidity increases in the fruity-sweetish finish, almost no tartness detectable. Decent Hefeweizen, a bit monotonous and sweet....
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bb (4577) - Alamo, California, USA - SEP 22, 2008

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Wulfstan (509) - California, USA - SEP 22, 2008
This is a very tasty hefeweizen. It is gold and bubbly but rather clear, with a huge, off-white head. The aroma is bread, pear, banana, rather like a cross between a good lager and a total hefewizen aroma. The taste is grain, fruit, banana, pear, apple, again a cross-between lager and more paradigmatic hefeweizen, giving a very nice, well-rounded quality.

Draught (EBF2008)
Banana aroma. Watery palate. Sweet, coriander. Some light fruity esters. Quite refreshing, but not special. Some soap in the finish.

50cl bottle from Knightly Spirits (Orlando, FL). Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a one finger bright white foamy head that settles quickly. Aroma is wheaty and nutty with some spice and citrus as well. Flavor is bready and wheaty with a fairly significant citrusy flavor that takes over in the middle and is present through finish. Some fruity and grain notes as well. Generally light bodied with a slightly sweet, tangy finish.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 henrikb (1317) - Aarhus, DENMARK - SEP 1, 2008
Draft - Pale golden very hazy body, huge fine white head; Huge very apparent weizen nose, tons of clove almost blowing you away from the glass, some grapefruit peel as well; Very soft texture and carbonation in body, quite fruity acid, salty, somehow like it wants to get away from you; Long finish with lots of aroma, menthol and clove are competing with a yeasty dryness. Somehow this beer is like anesthetic to your mouth, Strange!
