On tap. Pours yellow with a white head. Taste of wheat, light citrus-y fruits, bread, banana, spices and yeast. Very sweet and easily drinkable and a definite hit in the sun.

Bottle at The Moan and Dove. Pours bright hazy yellow with towering,pillowy, white foamy head. What I really loved about the Dove was how they always serve what you order in the correct and matching glass. I’m snobby like that but somehow it makes the experience seem more authentic, like I am one step closer to drinking this IN Bamberg. Nose is light spice, clove, lemon verbena, hay, soft banana, yeast esters. Flavor is refreshing, lightly floral, more spice, banana yeasty at the end, but thankfully not too much. A classic beer in an old classic style. I wish we got Mahrs here in NC instead of the shit we get.

Bouteille 500ml, courtoisie d’un contact de Victoria, BC. De couleur jaune et voilée. Nez de levures fruitées (bananes et citron) et légèrement épicées (clou de girofle), de blé aux petites notes sûres avec des notes de gomme baloune. Rondeur légère-moyenne en bouche avec un pétillement moyen ainsi qu’une légèrement crémeuse. Goût de levures fruitées légèrement acides et sucrées (bananes sucrées, léger d’agrumes, surtout de citron) et moyennement épicées (clou de girofle) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un moyen goût de blé, un léger goût de goût de gomme balouneavec des notes de miel puis en finale l’on retrouve des notes de houblon herbeux. Post-goût moyen, très légèrement acide de blé avec des notes fruitées (zeste d’agrumes).

Pale yellow color with something like peach to it and no head at all... thats weird. Aroma of citrus peel , peach. Taste is light sweet and just abit sour. Watery carbonation, light body, fizzy carbonation. Not bad

Bottle. Pours hazy Gold with a thick white head. A few floaters. Aroma is big banana. It’s a bit too sweet but ultimately a decent hefe.

Úgy néz ki, ahogy egy szűretlen búzának kell. Illata banános, citrusos, élesztős, csipetnyit füstös és enyhén büdi, kicsit olyan állott. Íze rágógumis, sült banános, kicsit fűszeres és égetett cukros, élesztős, búzamalátás és enyhén komlós. Nem túl testes és elég friss. Utóíze kissé fanyar és kesernyés. Nem rossz, csak a szaga egy kicsit fura.

500 ml. bottle. Opens a gusher, pours, eventually, a moderate, well retained white head, over a cloudy yellow body......nose is wheat, light banana, bubblegum.....taste is wheat, light banana, bubblegum, hints of clove.....mouth feel ligth of medium, carbonation, after the gusher, low. Although this meets the style quite well, it is somewhat lighter on the standard aromas and flavors than many. BJCP 7/3/12/4/6
