A very nice and fruity beer - bought in Guardiagrele, Italy. Strong taste of honey and ripe fruits. A full-bodied and rich brew.

Flaske 0,75l fra Vinmonopolet, Langnes. Delt med Elsa, Charly& ManU under hyggelig middag i Thyholdtvn. 17 Nov 13. Lys gylden. Lavt skum. Litt uklar. Forsiktig krydderaroma. Smaken er litt sitrus med antydning til krydder. Avslutter litt syrlig. Helhetsinntrykket er gress.

Bottle, 75cl. A more or less clear one, golden in color and with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is quite fruity and sugary, some apples, orange and peach. It’s semi-sweet on the palate, full-bodied with a pleasant carbonation level. The flavor is mostly fruity, with orange and yellow apples, some grainy malts and white sugar. A little bitterness too, especially in the finish. Nothing impressive going on, creds for using a fruit rarely used in brewing, even if it’s in the form of marmalade. 131206

Gusher. Medium white head. Slightly hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Earthy fruity metallic aroma with spicy mealy honey notes. Dry-sweet mealy honey and peach taste with herbal wild berry notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy fruity wooden aftertaste with herbal candy notes. Nice, drinkable, mellow. (0.75l bottle, from wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Manglerud
Orange hazy, white head. Smells of sweet fruits, some yeast and malts. Light sweet, meaty yeast flavors, yoghurt and flour. Moderate bitter finish

What a ripoff. I’m paying over 100 nok and gets this? Italian beer is often expensive; but this beer isn’t worth anything near what i paid.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 28.10.2013, 0,75l bottle @ home:
Small bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is mild and slightly fruity, light malts, flowers, yeast, citrus, yeast, dried fruits, hay. Taste is yeast, flowers, hay, weeds, grain, hints of citrus. Medium bitterness, kind of watery and metallic mouthfeel. Pretty boring, and I think this one is more like a blonde/golden ale than a fruit beer.

Bottle at home. Has a slightly cloudy straw yellow colour and a small, off-white head that fades fast. Fruity aroma of hay, spices, Belgian yeast, citrus and sweet fruit. The flavour has more hay, Belgian yeast, pale and sweet malt and with some sweet fruit in the end. Slick and silky mouth feel, and has a light bitterness. The aroma was nice but the flavour didn’t follow. Light and a little strange.

750ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Cloudy, pale golden body. White layer on the surface. Poor lacing. Fresh aromas of citrus fruits, mid-dry. Fresh lemon hoppy taste. Rounded citrus bitter ending with a little bit of yeasty fruitiness beneath it all. Medium bodied. Very refreshing (shared with Ingrid, Mari and Esben, Tromsø 12.10.2013).
