COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Just as our ancestors have their wheat beer brewed: it should ferment in an open vat, as then. The top-fermenting yeast surplus rising to the top several times a day we draw from and use them for the next brew. After fermentation, we fill up our Hefeweizen and let it traditionally mature in the bottle. Every bottle is so unique. Alc. 5.2% vol. We fill our Pale wheat beer in the 0.5 and 1.0 ltr. Ironing cap from bottle.

Bottle: Golden, cloudy, orangey sheen, big - slowly collapsing white head with a good lace, sweetish-wheaty-yeasty nose, some bananas detectable; light to moderate sweet-sourish flVour, pretty light bodied; slightly lingering sweetish-fruity finish, very low acidity in the aftertaste. Not bad, but a bit thin…

Bottle. Cloudy yellow, big stable creamy white head. Head stability really seems to be their thing. Citric lemongrass & banana aroma. Medium light body, like the Kellerbier I would love a tad more chewyness. Quite nice aromatics though: noce citric hops on banana yeastyness, light dry chalk. Quick finish makes this a elegant, fresh and non-cloying fruity Weissbier.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a blond, firm and huge foamy head. Mildly yeasty wheaty and cara-malty aroma with notes of banana, citrus and a delicately touch of cloves. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-matured carbonation. Banana-fruity and slightly cara-malty taste with present wheaty notes; a tinge of drying hops show up towards the moderately sweet and slightly bitter finish in combination with a still present fruit character. Solid Wheat. 28.V.13

11,10,9,9,10,9 9,40

Excellent Hefeweizen - Helles - with fruity refreshing banana like character. The Hefeweizen il mild, not dominated by hops - as it should be, with a very good drinkability, good carbonation. If you come across this Weizenbier you should give it a try!

bottle from Frankenland. Cloudy pale orange-yellow colour, large white head. Fruity nose. Medium-bodied, dry palate, yeasty, not very fruity, wheaty. Rather spicy and not very fruity at all - a nice old-fashioned Hefeweizen.
