COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from the Rewe Bamberg shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising, 26/01/14. Hazed golden orange with a moderate off white head. Nose is bitter orange, toasty, bread dough, lemon sherbet. Taste comprises tangerine, bread dough, citric snap, biscuit tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying finale. Nice stuff, a little different and breaks up the Helles/Hefe/Pils monotony a little! Amber Ale with the longest description award anyone !?!

Draft at the brewery. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is light to medium amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (cookie, toasted grain), lightly hoppy (apricot, flowers), with notes of fruit juices (peach, pear, plum, oranges), gum, dried mango. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly astringent. Neat fruity nose, but a little sour and a little husky. Not bad, not great.

Bottle @ home shared by Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Clear orange color, small off - white head that leaves fair lacing. Not a lot of aroma. Taste lightly malts, lightly hops, lightly a touch of fruits and something weird, though not necessarily bad.
