COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled (from BDX). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, peachy, some floral notes as well as sweet malts. Flavour is quite strong on the crystal maltiness, but does have a mellow and nice tropical fruity and floral hoppiness kicking in to give it a nice balance.

Body is medium, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, light caramel and light tropical fruitiness with light citrus/herbal hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, faint caramel and light tropical fruitiness, light - some citrus/herbal hoppyness. Interesting decently hopped amber ale - not too sweet. Bit too much caramel.

Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from the Rewe Bamberg shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising, 26/01/14. Hazed golden orange with a moderate off white head. Nose is bitter orange, toasty, bread dough, lemon sherbet. Taste comprises tangerine, bread dough, citric snap, biscuit tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying finale. Nice stuff, a little different and breaks up the Helles/Hefe/Pils monotony a little! Amber Ale with the longest description award anyone !?!
