This reminds me of a German Helles. Super light, well topped. Light and fruity. Lemony. I'd call this a girlie beer, though.

My buddy brought this up from Richmond for me. Standard light lager, reminded me of a Schmidt’s beer. I have a feeling this beer is more expensive then a "Schmibt-ies".

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2003 Recently had a bottle "fresh" from the brewery. In no uncertain terms, and in no way am I exaggerating here: the beer was absolutely HORRID. Pours absolutely headless, very light, faint yellow, though slightly cloudy - as if Coors Light became a hefeweizen. Severe carbonation overload! Copper/metallic tartness assaults my tongue while overcarbonation kills it. Harsh bite. Has a chemically-alcoholic aftertaste. This was really an odd tasting brew, but odd in a way that I would not like to experience ever again. Have had from tap in the past and don't remember it being THIS bad, but it was never good. Extremely poorly done. I feel bad busting on Main Street, but I am only being absolutely honest. The six pack has been sitting in my fridge, and no less than 3 people who have dared sample the leftovers have told me how bad the beer was.

Slightly cloudy, dark golden in color. Little head retention. Sweet-malty flavor; slightly dry finish; bread-like; by the way, ’Fan’ describes the way the streets, laden with row houses, ’fan’ out away from the city.
