Very good, if not elite for the style in my opinion. Color was a vibrant and dark red. Aroma of red malt and fruit. Flavor was very flavorful; red malt, earth, fruit and some nice hoppiness in the finish. Hophead22 (1105), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Feb 4, 2006 On Tap @ brewery. Amber colored with a tan//orangy head. Smelled strongly of malts with caramel and yeast. Body was far too light and foamy. Flavor on the front was great with a solid malt presence of caramel and some woody character, but the finish was thin and the alcohol shone through. Great potential, but it needs some refining.
