Draught @ Belmont Station:   Deep amber, very dark, coppery hue, hazy, thin off-white head, sparce lacing.   I do believe that after having my 3rd beer at Belmont Station that they are serving this stuff too cold, way too cold.   On the nose I get a pine resin aroma.   Otherwise subtle hop and earthiness.   Biting honeycomb cereal on the tongue.   When I saw Dark IPA I was thinking Stone Anniversary, but nope.   Has an astringent finish.   Seems more of a malt like biting factor than hop.   Not what I was expecting at all.   Body and mouthfeel are average.   Cereal in the finish.   Astringeny lingers.   Yeah, this one is off the mark.

Seasonal at Main Street in Gresham--Murky, brunt sienna amber with a minuscule white-tan head. Caramel candy nose. Hints of chocolate, toffee, dried apricot, and burnt peach. Sharp but not super bitter. Floral. Finished well-balanced, crisp and with dark fruitiness. Very nice and quite unique.
