Smells is like your favorite mates musky coffee, yum! Of course I say this in a non insulting way, it kinda has this oily olfactory. But seriously, this smell good. Taste is like mild coffee and does not go over the top like so many other coffee beers. Just enough in there to make it interesting. A nice mild brew, fun. Very refeshing coffee beer for a change, I liked this mild brew. You would never know its 5% or higher. Finish yeilds some mild sizzle in co2.

Dark brown, beige foam. Aroma is really roasty, really really roasty, astringent. Taste is the same, coffee, but mostly roasty astringency. Not my favorite coffee beer ever.

First let me say I am not a coffee drinker. I drink hot tea in the AM, but on my day off I could easily have a big mug of this coffee brew with my breakfast. other coffee beers I have had put off a burt bitter coffee taste and somehow this beer avoids that and comes out mild and just plain good.
