Jul 24, 2004 (RBSG04) Brown-black body. Aroma is medium sweet, roasty, caramel, some chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, RIngwood, earthy, grapefruit, some cherry. Lightly carbonated, light-medium body. Tastes more like a porter than their porter.

Jul 20, 2004 Tap. Finally I have a mild ale. Very dark - looks like a stout. WTF?? Little discernerable smell. Tastes like dark malts; and the weak finish made it TOO mild to be good. Disappointing. Too much Ringwood yeast.

Jun 9, 2004 Black opaque color with a lasting sticky tan head & lots of lacing. The aroma has a touch of roast but is mainly watery with some malt body & a little alcohol sweetness. Finishes with a large body for the ABV.
