Commercial Description:
A deep ruby color with a clean smooth finish characterizes this ale. Brewed using Pale Ale, Chocolate, and Special Roast malts and hopped with Centennial and Cascade. Don't let the dark color scare you this is easy drinking ale.

A nice little chocolately roasted porter, a little light, but rich with some decent flavors. Some bitter fruity hoppiness in the finish.

Brown/black with ruby edges, a creamy head and spots of lace. Bitter cocoa with some roast. A bit lacking. Nicely hopped flavors with a bitter roast and cocoa. Finshes roasty.

Dark brown and cloudy. Butter and milk with some weird roasted malts, very pale... very bad also.

RBSG 2004, on tap at the brewpub: Clear brown color, sweet chocolate aroma, Ringwood yeast taste (curse you!), medium body.

(RBSG04) Black body with off-white head. Aroma is mild sweet, roasty, some caramel. Taste is light sweet, roasty, not much else. Leaves a roasty bitter aftertaste. Watery light-medium body.
