3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Spicy rye and muddled saison yeast blended with some citrus and sharp hops that come off a bit soapy and medicinal but not too bad. Overall could be better but not bad.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared at Dadsgiving 2013. Pours a lightly hazy pale golden body with moderate white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is lemon, pepper, wheat and light dank herb. Mouthfeel is super light and really refreshing, the flavor almost comes off as a bit too muted at first; but after a few more sips this really hits its stride between a balanced, peppery saison and a drinkable, lightly dank nelson pale ale.

Draught @ Brewery: This one pours a hazy paler golden color. There was a bit of a white head on it. Some lacing. The aroma is good. Some rye, spices, citrus, earthy, wheat to name but a few. The taste is also good. Wheat, rye, grassy, yeasty, spicy. A touch bitter and dry to finish. Very Nice!

Pour out of 500 mL bottle, thanks Aaron! Hazy yellow pour with fluffy white head, aroma brought notes of big rye, nice biscuit, hints of nice grass, slight orange. Taste is a mix of white grape, hints of orange, grass, biscuit, hints of rye, slight earth, touch of nice spice and yeast, hints of grain, finishing fairly bitter, dry, slightly yeasty.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
My Bottom Line :
Peachy fruitiness and herbal hop proclivities gravitate around this brew’s biscuity hay notes for a complex and very interesting glass.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A healthy head of foam bounces atop the misty straw blond.
-This Saison’s rich cereal presence is different from the norm (it’s richly flavorful, but not rich in body).
-Herbal hop notes mostly show up in the second half.
-Tropical fruit are also shared by the hop bill.
-The yeast character may be a bit overwhelmed by the hop salience.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Une bière au seuil de l’insignifiance pour une collaboration. Légèrement épicée, pas très aromatique, facilement oubliée.

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
From a 500ml purchased at the brewery. Pours exactly like all MBC's other beers. Very nice floral and mildly spicy aroma. A good amount of head and a teensy bit o lacing. Mouthfeel is moderate with a good dose of carb. Taste is very true to the description; much like a pale ale and Saison hybrid. However, there's really not much depth of taste to speak of. Tastes mainly of water with some lemon grass and ginger. Meh, pretty uninspired.
