4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 raisedfist86 (12) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - FEB 18, 2011
Great stuff. Poured slow and still produced a massive head. Very light carbonation and mellow hop character make for a super sessionable brew. The aroma is pretty light on the nose but the minute you take a sip the flavor really blossoms. I’d love to try this on tap.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 thornecb (3098) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 18, 2011
Pours deep amber into a tulip. Bright white conglomerate head with excellent retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Dark caramel, resin and grapefruit aromas. Dry with upfront biscuit and resin followed by a lasting bitter grapefruit pith finish.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 johnnnniee (1000) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 12, 2011
Mfg 12/17/2010 sampled 2/12/2010 so this bottle is about 2 months old.
Pours a slightly cloudy golden amber color with a good sized fluffy white head that takes its time receding. Smells of citrus; lemons and tart orange abound with hints of bread and mineral water. Taste follows the aroma with Pine and citrus mixed with a bready lightly caramel malt base. Finish is quite dry with a lingering citrusy hop bite. Medium level of carbonation, medium to thin body with a resinous mouthfeel. Wow. I am rather impressed with this beer. I find it a tad thin, but otherwise this is a fantastic flavorful easy drinker. This one does straddle the line between APA and IPA. If I didn’t have to travel to another state to get this, I might drink this a lot more often.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Cletus (6064) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 30, 2011
Pours gold with a lasting, rocky white head. Smells of sage, floral, some light citrussy hints. Tastes nutty, toasted, earthy, some light spice, maple with a semi-sweet finish.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jimhilt (2166) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 28, 2010
Pours a two-finger off-white head that fades very slowly leaving a good lace. Almost clear pale amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Light grapefruit hop nose. Flavor is grapefruit hops, the malts are in the background. Bitter aftertaste. $5.00 for a 500ml bottle from a Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, ME.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 AirForceHops (1118) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 17, 2010
This pours a slightly hazy, deep copper color, white head that laced nicely all he way down to the bottom. The nose is delightfully citric with bits of grapefruit, hops and yeast. The taste is pleasantly mild and lightly bitter with soft floral notes. The mix of hops they used is a very nice blend. Medium in body with very high, aggressive carbonation. I NOT a fan of super hoppy beers BUT, this has no bitterness in the after taste. They have inspired me to try other recipes they brew, well done Gentleman!
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Angeloregon (2054) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 12, 2010
From a bottle shared by Sean of 2 Beer Guys. This orange-copper-amber hazy bodied ale possesses a frothy attached whitish head. The nose is a luring piny citrus Northwest hop variety with prevalent bready and biscuity undertones as well as noticeable nuttiness. Clean, balanced (for an IPA) with many favorable resinous hops complexities. This beer is an obvious winner.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 drfabulous (2288) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - NOV 21, 2010
Bottle thanks to porterhouse. Wonderful hop aroma. Slight apricot to the body. Well carbonated. Hoppy and floral. Very tasty. Two for two with Maine Beer.

16.9 oz bottle from Tully’s in Wells Maine. Pours a muddy copper color, like an old penny. I would have scored this higher, but for the appearance. That is the only negative about the beer. Muddy color , but with a 2 finger frothy white head. Crisp, sharp hop aroma with some buttered cracker. Palate is medium to light with a enough carbonation to be interesting. Flavor is light citrus hop with some grain peaking out here & there. Very nice beer from a tiny brewery with a social conscience.

Courtesy of ohlrangers. Nice aroma, citrus, pine, floral, pale malts in the background. Flavor much the same, really nice balance between citrus fruits and pale malts, well attenuated. Highly sessionable.
