Clear yellow pour with a small white head. Tropical guava, orange flesh, citrus peel, and spicy hop herbal lead to a flavor of juicy grapefruit and floral perfume hops. Medium body with great carbonation.

Fantastic APA! I enjoyed a pint of this at the Railroad St in Linfield. The beer poured a darker golden color with a bit of a straw-colored hue and an ample white head. The head left some really nice lacing around the glass, too. The nose was full of spicy and dry hops, pine, grapefruit and a bit of toasted bread. The body was super smooth and easily drinkable. I think my pint was gone in under six or seven minutes. It didn’t last too long at all! The flavors were extremely delicious, with spicy and dry hop notes, along with pine, grapefruit, oranges, hop resin, and just enough bread and earth tones for balance. The finish was dry and hoppy, as well. This is an incredibly enjoyable and delicious pale ale!

Bottle; Pour is murky golden with a fine bubbled frothy head in this glass; some fairly nice retention, sticky lacing is present as well. The nose is florals, resinous hops, and there is a faint caramel there, with some grains. The flavor profile begins in a very "crisp and clean" fashion - beginning with the sweetness from the malt profile, and pushing towards the bitterness from the hops; more florals, and some grass. The bitterness lingers at the end - the white wheat malts as in the description i think alters the complexity in a different manner than I’m used to. This is a fairly nice pale but I don’t think it sticks out for me at all.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 duaneh (100) - - MAR 7, 2012
Pours a hazy light orange/amber with a very nice 3 finger, fat and creamy, off white head. Smell is nice, great hoppiness, spicy and zesty, some lemon rind, big floral, tons of citrus in the nose. Hops are very prevalent but not overly aggressive. Again the pine is the main character. There is also a slight citrus orange character that is very pleasant.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 dogfishho (275) - Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA - MAR 5, 2012
Pours a very pale yellow... almost looks like Coors Light. The head is white and pillowy. Aroma is a tad wispy, but displays nice cereals and some spicy, grassy hop aromas. The palate is also a bit thin, but the taste is balanced and clean. A nice beer, but I can’t give it a really high score.

Citrusy orange aromas. Pours yellow/orange with a small white head. Light tangerine and orange flavors. Overall a very good brew.

Bottle dated 12/20/2011, thanks to emileer. 02/29/2012. Pours slightly cloudy pale gold, nice three finger head with great retention, sudsy lacing. Great floral hop profile to the aroma, soft citrus and grapefruit, touch of pine, semi-sweet caramel malt underscored with a dryer biscuit character. Taste has pale malts kissed with lemon, hops more subdued when compared to the nose, not as much grapefruit, more earthy pine, orange, mild bitterness with dry finish. Medium light body, but crisp in the mouth with nice carbonation, flavors are nicely balanced. I was pleasantly surprised, this is a pretty great pale ale.
