Bottle from Good Beer NYC. Pours a lovely deep brown, nearly black with a soft, velvety tan head that matches its velvety palate. Nose of coffee, charred malts, cocoa, oats, roasted nuts. Taste adds a hop bitterness that works perfectly with the roastiness. Balanced to perfection.

Adamsville (199) - Quebec, CANADA - JUL 29, 2016

Dark copper, covering lace. Full body, intense flavor, balanced and clean mouthfeel, lingering aftertaste. Tart, bitter, off dry. Strong coffee flavor, tar. Great porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Truly great, well balanced beer. Lots of roastiness playing along with some caramelly biscuity maltiness and balancing hoppy bitterness. All elements are in unique harmony. Fruity, cherries, prunes. Well attenuated, easy drinking. Great.
