Deep hazy amber and copper coloured body with a tint of ruby, orange, peach and caramel, all with a three centimetre tall tan head - very nice looking. Aroma of bright caramel and earthy hops with a lot of alcohol in place, some pungent sweet notes and a good kick of fruit and herbs. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour from resin, pineapple, pine and herbs with a good malt backbone, some assertive sweetness and fruity notes and finishing with a smooth sweet and slightly earthy flavour. Aftertaste shows a good complexity with the hops front and centre, some more piney and earthy notes as the flavour goes on and ending with a solid malt flavour and a good sweetness. Overall, a nice and complex american strong bordering on the edge of an Imperial IPA. Worth trying if you can find it, perhaps not worth the money, but compared to some others, this is fine. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 24-February-2013 for US$7.82 sampled at home in Washington on 11-June-2013.

Bottle. Poured an amber color with an off white head. Aromas of floral hops, toast, caramel, and some pine. Tastes of caramel, floral, and citrus.

Great creamy hoppy beer. Their signature style turned up a notch. Very lacy. DIPA strength, drunk exactly 90 days after bottling, bottle from Capone’s.

500ml bottle-tight lt tan head with trailing lace-hazy amber. A-resin/citrus zest some lt/med malt. T-sweet citrus,…,med malt-caramel.

500mL bottled Feb 1st and good within 90 days. So not very fresh unfortunately, but within the dates mentioned. Grrr. Pours full haze, murky red. Massive off white, rocky foam. Big lacing. Sweeter red strawberry candy nose. Mild orange pancake syrup. Taste is nutty, orange and red sticky syrup. Palate surprisingly not astringent or nutty.

Bottle->trappist. Hazy orange/amber with frothy white head. Arooma: sweet, with herbs, hops, pine, fruit. Taste: citrus hops, sweet malt. Bittersweet aftertaste. Another great beer from Maine Beer Co.

Half liter bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours a hazy dark orange color with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Hoppy aroma with resin and pine along with nuts and faint toffee. The taste is toffee malts, some crackery notes, citrus and herbal hops. Medium bodied. Decently balanced. The slightest hint of booze.

Big citrus fruit, caramel, nuts, and slight booze. Complexion like nectarine skin, with a small but lasting, beige head. Dry, bitter, and strong. Medium full, sticky yet smooth, and finishes with some lingering, nutty malts, and a lot of piney and citrusy hops.

Dry crispy hop scents with veggie notes. Very cloudy amber hue. Fresh hoppy taste with dry malty piney finish. Smooth and crisp on the palate. Delicious.

Bottle. Clear amber pour with an off white head. Spice aromas. Light and easy drinking with light florally hop and spice notes. Good mouthfeel.
