COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our “East Coast” version of a West Coast-style IPA. Intense hop flavors and aromas of tropical and citrus fruits and pine dominate. A subtle malt sweetness brings the beer into balance.

Bottle dated 8/10/12 so three weeks out. Pour has a dark golden orange color and a thick two finger white head that retained very well. Aroma has huge hops, dry citrus, light tropics, sweet malt, and light pine. Fantastic nose but the mo last night was much punchier. Mouth feel is medium light and there is medium carbonation. Flavor brings the bitterness out, resins, sweet malt, citrus pokes, nice and juicy with a lingering finish. There is a considerable bit more malt in this than mo and the bitterness is juiced up a bit as well.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. A delightful hoppy nose. The flavor is almost as well hopped. They seem quite fresh with citrus and flowers. Vert nice.

500ml bottle shared by jsprime. light orange with an off white head. well crafted highly sessionable ipa. a bigger, punchier nose could put this over the top, world class as is.

Tap at the Ginger Man, Manhattan - 29/05/12. Slightly hazy golden orange with a medium cream head. Citrus hops and pine dance out of the glass. Hops in the taste, pine, well balanced sweetish malt and caramel. Spot on ! Lighter end of medium bodied and matching carbonation, very smooth drinking, great consistency with a medium bitter finish. Excellent beer probably the best IPA I’ve tasted !

(Rating #4305)

Traded bottle. Oh, that’s good IPA. Absolutely gorgeous with a big, fluffy white head. Big aroma that starts sweet and finishes with some pine resin. Pretty pleasant flavor, not over-the-top. Nice lingering bitterness. Pretty well done.

Almost brown malts, carbon, crystal, burnt toast. Grass and pine in the nose. Refreshing, solid fluff and lace. Grapefruit end with sugar and water also lingering in the palate.

Bottle from The Beer Store. Pours a dark gold/orange with a solid 2 finger white head. Head recedes slowly leaving copious lace. As you might expect, huge hoppy aroma leaning towards the citrus/grapefruit side. Bitter flavor, but nicely balanced. Hops are dominant, but don’t attempt to blundgeon you. Some nice malt sweetness for balance. Moderate bodied and just a bit oily. Bitter finish. Outstanding.

Hugely enjoyable and red-amber in color. Strong hop aroma, mellower taste. Bitter yet drinkable. Again, strong.
