Our ďEast CoastĒ version of a West Coast-style IPA. Intense hop flavors and aromas of tropical and citrus fruits and pine dominate. A subtle malt sweetness brings the beer into balance.

Bottle - thanks Walt! Pours slightly hazy amber, medium off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, pine. Flavor is the same, lightly spicy, light sweet, light bitter, doesnt quite live up to aroma. Medium body, a bit watery.

Bottle. Amber pour with a tall, foamy tan head. Strong floral hops and citrus in the aroma along with soft malt and caramel. Some tropical fruit notes as well. Taste tropical fruit, floral hops, citrus oils, peaches, caramel, soft grains, sweet malt and faint pine. Body is medium with a strong, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more tropical fruit, citrus notes, floral hops, light pine and caramel. Another tasty beer from Maine Beer Company!

Lots of delicious juicy orange citrus flavour. Orange coloured body, with some retained head. Orange aroma. Similar to a DIPA without any palate erasure. Masterful IPA. The drink to date was November, and this is one month later. Very good hop aroma.

Bottled November 18, 2012.
Appearance: Iím not a fan of opaque amber bodies usually and this is no different, the head is thick white leaving lots of lacing and good retention.
Aroma: The aroma reminds me of MO with tropical and citrus aromas, some grapefruit and pineapple, slight orange juice aromas as well. The aroma is a little on the light side though.
Taste: Clean malt body thatís balanced well with the light bitterness of light pine, grapefruit, and bitter orange coming through strong by the finish, in-fact the orange sort of takes over by the end.
Palate: Light to medium body with a crisp feel to it, light carbonation.
Overall: I like this, but Iím not in love with it. The orange flavor is a bit too strong though throwing the balance off and the price is a bit steep to drink often. I prefer MO, itís better balanced.

Bottle. Pours an attractive lightly hazy copper color with a small white head. Aroma is complex, some nice citrusy grapefruit, light tropical fruits, clean malty notes and light pine. Taste is complex and very clean; nice amount of bitterness. Grapefruit, tropical fruits, solid malty backbone with touches of biscuit and fruit, with a nice dose of hops on the end that doesnít make it too dry. Great, easy drinking IPA!

A beautiful looking beer with a nice head. The aroma is top notch with hops, malts, and citrus characteristics. The hops do not overwhelm but do show a complexity in the scent. Which in turn entice me into the beverage. A flavor of hops, citrus, and malts attack my taste buds. Its a quick surrender on my part. After a sip there is a yeast and bitter after taste which isn?t bad. The only thing that I wish could be different with the Lunch is in the flavors. They tend to not linger around. I suppose that I must keep sipping this drink so the flavor cannot fully escape from me. Overall this is a must try for any hop lover.

Pours a pale orange color with a soapy white foam head. Heavy earthy aroma with some grapefruit and zest underneath. Light frothy caramel sweet with a quick resiny, but thin, hop hit with a dry clean yet sticky finish. Hops linger long.

Half liter bottle from Beer Run. Pours a hazy pale golden color with a large frothy off-white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of floral, herbal, earthy and mildly tropical hops. Pale caramel malts. The taste is herbal, pine and resin hops. Pale caramel malts. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Nice beer.

Pours dark gold with a fluffy white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is piney and citrusy hops. Taste is similar but fruit comes out in the back end. Dry and crisp palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
