4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
500ml bottle into a New Belgium goblet.
A: Pours a hazy orange-copper color. Very hazy, actually. About two fingers of fluffy, off-white head is formed, and the retention is fabulous. The lacing left on the glass is both sudsy and plentiful.
S: Unsurprisingly, it’s loaded with citrusy hops. I notice grapefruit, mango, apricot, and melon alongside some more typical pine notes. Slight biscuity maltiness is evident, too. While it didn’t quite blow me away like I expected it to, it’s still a great aroma, head-and-shoulders above many IPAs.
T: The citrus notes are even more evident on the flavor profile. A huge opening of fresh grapefruit, apricot, melon, and mango provides an evocative juiciness that I love. Mild pine bitterness and slight biscuity tones appear on an otherwise clean finish. This really does a fantastic job of showcasing fruity hops in a balanced manner.
M: Pretty much ideal here: clean, crisp, bone-dry, low bitterness, and light. I’d call it ’easy to drink’, but this is one of those beers I don’t want to end. Soft carbonation adds to the wonderful mouthfeel.
O: It’s easy to see why this is hyped. As far as east-coast IPAs go, I can’t think of one that’s on this level - maybe super-fresh Troegs Perpetual IPA or Flower Power? Obviously I haven’t sampled any of the (supposed) Vermont masterpieces, but I’d still imagine this one is really high up the totem pole regardless. And to think I was ready to complain about MBC pricing before sampling this - I’d gladly pay $8/500ml for this one again. And again, and again, and again...

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at tasting. Aroma of hop, citrus, malt and pine. Taste has fresh fruit, citrus, grassy fresh hops and mild pine. Nice stuff, bit overrated though.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
It poured a deep gold color, with finger width head. It smelled like citrus and floral hops. Also smells very "clean" if that makes sense. It is super smooth and has a very nice hop/malt balance. Possibly, a perfect hop/malt balance. The hops linger on the tongue just a little bit in the finish, but not too bitter.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Thanks to Sloth for this one.   Cloudy straw, orangish, big fluffy white head, nice lacing.   Hoppy nose, but not bitter.   A little sweet and citrusy, slightly candied.   Similar on the tongue.   Very smooth.   Nice hop profile without being overly bitter.   Citrusy start to finish, but without the bitterness.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Clean finish.   Really easy drinking IPA.   It could actually stand to have a bit more bitterness, HAHAH.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap into a snifter showing a finger of clean white foam and lightly filtered dry orange peel.
The nose shows sharp notes of cannabis and tart kiwi with steel tank notes in between.
The palate is light bodied and fully carbonated. Flavors of juicy kiwi, pineapple and lighter notes of mango. Moderate hoppy bitterness that balances the fruit flavors and a light zesty spice on the linger. I had this in a bottle before and have to say, having it fresh on tap is completely different.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very smooth hoppy, non malty flavor. Slightly cloudy blond. Good but I don’t get all the hype.
