4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
500ml bottle into a New Belgium goblet.
A: Pours a hazy orange-copper color. Very hazy, actually. About two fingers of fluffy, off-white head is formed, and the retention is fabulous. The lacing left on the glass is both sudsy and plentiful.
S: Unsurprisingly, itís loaded with citrusy hops. I notice grapefruit, mango, apricot, and melon alongside some more typical pine notes. Slight biscuity maltiness is evident, too. While it didnít quite blow me away like I expected it to, itís still a great aroma, head-and-shoulders above many IPAs.
T: The citrus notes are even more evident on the flavor profile. A huge opening of fresh grapefruit, apricot, melon, and mango provides an evocative juiciness that I love. Mild pine bitterness and slight biscuity tones appear on an otherwise clean finish. This really does a fantastic job of showcasing fruity hops in a balanced manner.
M: Pretty much ideal here: clean, crisp, bone-dry, low bitterness, and light. Iíd call it íeasy to drinkí, but this is one of those beers I donít want to end. Soft carbonation adds to the wonderful mouthfeel.
O: Itís easy to see why this is hyped. As far as east-coast IPAs go, I canít think of one thatís on this level - maybe super-fresh Troegs Perpetual IPA or Flower Power? Obviously I havenít sampled any of the (supposed) Vermont masterpieces, but Iíd still imagine this one is really high up the totem pole regardless. And to think I was ready to complain about MBC pricing before sampling this - Iíd gladly pay $8/500ml for this one again. And again, and again, and again...

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours golden orange with a massive rocky head and good lacing. Aroma is huge grapefruit and medicinal herbs (rosemary, echinacea). Flavor is massively fruit and floral on the start, big piney notes blend with rose hips, hibiscus. Thereís a vitamin/herbal/medicinal second part to the flavor, again floral notes underlay fruit flavors, with just a bit of alcohol in there to balance it out. Very pleasant and bright, not overly-sweet. Thanks to Duffman for sharing!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared at Daveís tasting. Pours a hazy golden orange with a white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus with grapefruit being the most prevalent. The flavor is citrusy with a fairly weak malt backbone. A soapy flavor emerges at the finish and actually feels a bit soapy on the palate as well. I enjoy hoppy beers but Iím not a fan of this one.

Really fantastic IPA. Hazy orange pour with plenty of white bubbles. Pine and citrus in the nose. Definitely a hop bomb with lots of bitterness through out. Plenty of malt sweetness and tropical tastes to balance it out. Nice.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours light tan with a white head. I mostly got fresh orange and spruce in the nose and in the taste. I donít get these guys in Ohio so iíd never heard of them until my cousin in New York gave me one. They talked it up pretty big so I think I was expecting more. Iíd definitely grab one if I saw it though.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Big, effervescent citrusy aroma. Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice aroma. Nice slightly bitter citrus flavors, with a nice, dry, slightly bitter finish. The malt backbone is very subtle, making this drink fairly light. The aftertaste is slightly bitter.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught @ Brewery: This one pours a hazy orangish color. There was a finger or so of head on it, and left lots of lacing. The aroma is nice. Lots of different tropical fruits, with some citrus thrown in too. The taste is also quite good. A good hope bite to it, with some citrus notes. Followed by a decent malt body with a touch of the sweetness trying to come through. Another solid beer from them!

I've had a lot of IPAs and this is definitely first tier. Quite chewy for the style, and the malts and hops are in perfect balance. Diggin the slight sweetness too. A-

Pretty amazing ipa. Pours orange with lovely one finger pillowy head. Nose is great tropical fruits. Tastes of tangerines, mangos, pine, resin, light bubblegum, ocean salt, and malt backbone. Lively palate and very satisfying
