A nice near black with a chocolate milk foam head. Nice aroma of roast malt and vanilla. Some vanilla taste, but not a lot, I hope it hasnít faded already as this is about 4 months old. Lots of roast bitterness, a little coffee and a nice sweet finish. Nice beer.

A vanilla bean stout that should be enough said but Iíll go on. The vanilla cuts the rough edges off the roasted bitterness making this a quite pleasant brew. easy to enjoy and most definitely easy to over imbibe. So watch yourself.

Really like this one. Approaching pitch black in appearance. Aroma of roasty goodness and chocolate. Flavor is much like the aroma. Lots of dark roasty malt and chocolate coming through. Finishes dry. Very nice.

Bottle; Pour is murky brown with a modest khaki brown head in this glass - this beer has a nice cocoa, roast, vanilla nose - the flavor profile has a roast bitterness initial, some fairly nice sweetness through the center, with the vanilla poking through here - the finish is more roast and some sweetness - overall, a very nice stout attempt here

Location: 500 ml bottle from Normís, 11/17/12
Aroma:†The nose is chocolate, vanilla, some roasted malts, and a little bit of coffee
Appearance:†This one pours a dark brown-black color with a small beige head
Flavor:†The taste is a little sweet, heavy malty, pretty toasty, and with a mild bitterness
Palate:†The body is medium-plus, it feels creamy, has a soft carbonation, and a lengthy, lightly dry finish
I thought this was a really solid beer, but it didnít approach world class for me. Still though, it was very solid, and the flavors were right in-line with what they were going for. The vanilla doesnít overpower, instead, it adds a nice component. Good stuff.
