Bottled on 11/26 consumed 12/10 really good pale ale, easily on par with zombie dust perhaps even a touch cleaner. What I enjoyed most was the beer sticking to the pale ale designation not IPA made like a APA. good citrus bright nose, easy drinking clean body, good carbonation. slam dunk.

500mL bottle, sent from Gregg657 (thanks a lot, Pete), pours a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma of brings out light floral notes, some passionfruit, a touch of citrus, and a little grass. Flavour is crisp, clean and refreshing, with citrus zest, passionfruit, piney and floral hops, and a nice grassy bite. Extremely smooth, refreshing and crisp, with a dry, crisp finish. Excellent pale ale of immense drinkability.

500 ml bottle into pint glass, bottled on 10/22/2013. Pours moderately hazy golden orange color with a nice 2-3 finger dense and rocky off white head with incredible retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts the entire glass. Dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pineapple, peach, tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel, lemon zest, floral, grass, light honey, light caramel, light pine, and floral earthiness. Fantastic aromas with huge hop complexity and a fair amount of malt balance; and great strength. Taste of big pineapple, tangerine, orange peel, peach, grapefruit, lemon zest, floral, grass, pine, light honey, light caramel, and floral earthiness. Good amount of earthy floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, orange peel, lemon zest, floral grass, light pine, light honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity and balance of bright juicy hop flavors; with a crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic pale ale! All around awesome complexity and balance of bright hop and moderate malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Binny’s Skokie. Pours a dark golden orange color with a one finger white head. Good retention, slowly settling into a lasting, thick ring. Earthy, floral aroma with dank, resinous hops giving off lots of pine and citrus. Hints of pineapple and grapefruit counter the earthier notes. Pale biscuit malt presence. Medium bodied wih a blast of sticky, dry hops that linger throughout into a slightly boozy finish. Bitter and dry with dank pine needle flavor countered by tropical and citrus fruit, especially pineapple and orange peel. Subtle malt backbone for balance with hints of graham cracker and biscuit. Very well balanced

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle @ Pat’s tasting. Orange in color with a white head. Aroma is all celery to me. Uck. Some bread, vegetal hops, maybe a bit of orange. But mostly celery. Flavor is slightly sweet with a bit of bitter grass and pine. Minimal orange and more celery. Really disappointed. Bad bottle?
