Our first run at an American Pale Ale. Flavors and aromas of zesty citrus, passionfruit, and pine present themselves throughout. A very subtle malt sweetness for balance, but this is intended to finish dry.

Pours a clear golden with a medium, lingering white head. The taste is full of citrus and fruits. It has pear, grapefruit, pine, mango, and peach. The taste brings out much more pine, but the fruity elements remain. I still get grapefruit, mango, and peach. The aftertaste is a strong pine, though it doesnít last especially long. I would say that this one leans towards being more dry if anything, although it brings out a touch of sweetness at the end. Medium in body, slick in texture, and containing a good amount of carbonation. I canít find anything negative. This is a good beer.

Bottle to glass. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden orange color with a thin white head. Aroma is light citrusy floral hops with almost a crisp lager character. Flavor brings out more of the hop profile, with a good mix of citrusy fleshy fruit hops and a light caramel sweetness. Light in body and very drinkable! Excellent beer.

Very fresh bottle from march 11th, got this from dfroms. Pours a hazy golden orange with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is delightful - lots of fresh grass and dank citrus notes up front, tangerine hoppiness and pine follows. A lush honey-like crisp maltiness round the aroma off. It is very pleasant on the palate - lots of hoppiness up front, providing a superb balance between a pleasant bitterness and citrusy and grassy notes. The maltiness in this beer is spot on - it remains crisp and evident, although doesnít provide much sweetness on the palate. The bitterness stays restraint and at the same time takes it right to the limit of what the maltiness allows - and lands on a perfect level of balance. This is one of the best American Pale Ales Iíve ever tried.

Oh my this smells wicked right out of the bottle. Crystal clear golden body with a tall white crown floating on top. Aroma is big and awesome. Huge peach hops, sweet caramel, simple and big...... aroma is perfect for the style, this would be epic for an IPA and its only a APA. Taste is clean and fresh. How is this not an IPA? Dry peachy, metalic, grass, SMOOTH!!!! I can drink the hell out of this!!! Not a single fault in this. Maybe wheat shows in the finish.

550ml bottle poured in pint glass. Pours gold with good carbonation and a foamy white head slow to dissipate. Smells fruity which must be from the passion fruit, but in a really good way that makes me want to drink immediately. Actually has a quite piney hop presence throughout with a dry finish. The description above is pretty much on point; piney hops balance very well with malt sweetness. Fruit flavors are even more subtle almost hidden. More carbonation than Lunch or Red Wheelbarrow so the mouth feel isnít perfect like those, otherwise all around great beer.
