3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very easy drinking pale ale...lots of aromatics, moderate body. Mostly aroma for the hops, not a lot of bite in the body, but still very very good.

Flight at tasting room. Just ok for me. Honestly drinks more like a session IPA than a pale. Pours light-ish hazy orange with white head. Citrus and pine dominate. Fairly light bodied. Bitter/dry in the finish. Average pale for me. Seems I am in the minority opinion on this one- will have to give it another shot next visit.

Poured from pounder bottle. Cloudy dark golden body. Tight white blanket of foam woven with long-lasting bubbles. Some lacing. Fantastic initial aroma of citrus; tangerines, apricots, some pineapple. Scents of fresh grass and biscuits are also present. Taste consists of pine and strong grapefruit flavor with floral notes. Lavender seemed to be layered in there somewhere deep. Mouthfeel was somewhat light with a moderate carbonation that led to an uncanny smoothness. Dry finish with slight bitterness. Well done all around.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a clear golden copper with a frothy white head that leaves lots of lacing up the glass. Aroma of pine, grass, grapefruit, light tropical fruits and some sweet pale malts. Taste is pine, fresh cut grass, grapefruit, light but balancing malty sweetness and a smooth medium bitterness. Finish is dry which makes the hops pop more and let’s the bitterness stick out a bit... Love this apa.

First Maine brew and I’m impressed. Nice lace, golden pour. It has citrus and tropical notes but lots of pine too...just really solid and we’ll rounded.

[6910-20141109] Bottle. Fragrant dusty chocolate citrus hops aroma. Clear, bright orange body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head and some lacing. Bitter orange lemon hops and light lychee notes in the flavour. Medium body. Delicious. (8/4/8/4/16) 4.0

Couple of bottles at London Lenny’s with dinner. Huge fruity, hoppy aroma. Lots of tropical fruit, grapefruit, grass, and pine. Flavors follow suit on a light body. Not much malt sweetness here, leaving it light, clean, refreshing, and bitter. Nice clean finish with pine resin and citrus flavors. Excellent.

Draft pour at Upstairs. Decent head on the pour. First taste is grapefruit with a mild finish of hops. Not bitter at all. Very good IPA, um... APA.
