2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Okay aromas of tropical fruits. The taste is watery and light tropical fruits. Good bitter aftertaste which fills the upper and front part of the mouth a weak moment. Good beer but too watery. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle from Premier Gourmet. Pours a cloudy golden colour with decent-sized, lasting white head. Aroma is floral hops with crisp grains, grass and light citrus. Citrus a little more apparent in the taste, with floral notes still prominent and solid grainy malt as well as a little grassiness. Average body. Nothing crazy but really drinkable.

Yes, fine brew. I do believe that if a craft brew is going to make an effective challenge on the lager/pilsener end of the spectrum, that price point is extremely important. Certainly this brew is far superior to the general adjunct lagers which dominate the beer sales landscape in the USofA, but at nearly $6 for less than two 12oz bottles of Bud total (and at a similar ABV) this is just a marketing gimmick, getting suckers to pay a premium for a small improvement. If craft beer cannot compete on price in this lighter end of the brewing scale, then making these fine but pricey brews will never catch on.

Bottled 1/23/15. Another delight from Maine Beer. Citrus and piney taste for this American ale.

Pours a light sunny yellow with mountains of rocky head. Aromas are soft fresh pine, and orange citrus. Very smooth with pine and citrus and tropical fruit. A world class beer.

Pale gold, good clarity. Nose is nectarine, lemon. Flavor is same plus pine accents, light orange zest, grainy/toasty/bready malt comes through near the finish. Ultra dry and light bodied.

Found at Total Wine in Charleston. Super Bowl brew. Sadly was a bit stale- check the dates Total Wine!- but can see the potential. Pretty light pour for a "pale"- light orange, white head. Hazy. Tons of citrus- dominant flavor. Notes of pine, floral and earth. Super crisp and dry in the finish. Not as much maltiness as I would expect from a pale. More hoppy/ bitter-slightly astrigent, even- and less sweet. Decent stuff. Well balanced. Would love to try on tap and super fresh.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light haze to a golden pour. Aroma is sweet malt and citrus. Taste is citrus and pepper. Not bad, but not something I would search for.
