COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American-style ale brewed one barrel at a time. The malt bill is built on American two-row malt and accented by crystal 10, Vienna, and white wheat malts. Magnum hops give the beer a nice clean bittering and Amarillo, Cascade, and Centennial hop varieties provide a pleasant floral and citrusy hop flavor. A healthy dose of additional Amarillo and Centennial are dry hopped to give this beer an inviting hop aroma. The beer is fermented with a neutral yeast strain and allowed to dry out so it finishes crisp and clean.

Note: Formerly known as Spring Peeper.

9 dec 2011, bottle. Light yellow and a bit cloudy. Slightly sweet, old lemony citrus w sOme straw notes. Thin body and fizzy. Doesn’t deliver much. A bit watery with some lemony notes. Like a lemony hop lager but not as fizzy.

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2013 hazy effervescent tangerine, soapy thick head, moderate lacing. resinous nose, grapefruit, moderate dough and coin. Flavor is thicker, more barky, high attenuation with some cheese and orange in finish, mid showing melon and citrus, bit of mint and cardboard. Decent nose, mediocre flavor.

Had again. Damn Sam! Quaffable pale ale, tons of bitterness with no messy sugars anywhere

500ml Bottle: Aroma of hops, pine, citrus, resin, and slight malt. Poured a muddy gold/amber/flaxen color with a medium-sized, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, pine, resin, caramel, and citrus. Medium body. Tingly, then dry texture. Average carbonation. Medium sweet, medium bitter, hop, malt, pine, citrus, resin finish is dry. A lot like their Zoe with less hops and less alcohol.

On draught at When Pigs Fly in Kittery, ME. Arrived to the table a hazy gold with a film for a head that left light lace. There is really no aroma to speak of with this beer. I sampled the aroma more than once and there is just nothing there. The flavor is malt with some mild lemon followed by some mild-moderate hops bitterness. Light-medium bodied.

Pours a hazy pale orange/honey color with a thick white head...nice retention and lacing. Aroma has delicate leafy hops...grapefruit and a hint of spice...as well as some mildly sweet toasty malt...caramel. flavor is more hoppy than the aroma suggests...earthy and spicy with a hint of grapefruit...light toasty malt backing. Motuhfeel is light and silky and the finish is dry and hoppy...earthy/spicy.

Aroma has soft sweet light lemon citrus notes so pleasant in the nose. It pours clear lemon orange with a decent white head. The flavor is light crisp and smooth bitter hop notes that are soft on the palate with floral and lightly dry ending.

16.9 oz bottle. Pours a dark golden caramel brown color with a fluffy medium sized white head. Aroma of light Amarillo and Centennial hops, light grapefruit, grassy notes and bitter malts. Taste is much the same as the aroma. Very nice well balanced Pale Ale.

Phenomenal beer. beautiful hazy apricot with a big creamy head. Huge, massive tropical fruit, and floral citrus, followed by subtle lacing of pine and fresh-cut grass. Flavor comes on similarly, hops hit crisp and forward on the whole tongue, but they fade smoothly and quickly. Good carbonation that delivers the flavors well. Find this and try it.

16 oz bottle tossed into a pint glass. Pours a translucent gold with a soapy white head. Nose is quite complex, and includes slightly toasted grains, a bit of wheat, orange zest, and grapefruit. There is a great balance between the slightly sweet, buscuity malts and copious amount of hops. Thankfully, the hops are mildly bitter, and give off delicate hints of orange, pine, and red grapefruit. I would drink this all day if given the chance.
