COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American-style ale brewed one barrel at a time. The malt bill is built on American two-row malt and accented by crystal 10, Vienna, and white wheat malts. Magnum hops give the beer a nice clean bittering and Amarillo, Cascade, and Centennial hop varieties provide a pleasant floral and citrusy hop flavor. A healthy dose of additional Amarillo and Centennial are dry hopped to give this beer an inviting hop aroma. The beer is fermented with a neutral yeast strain and allowed to dry out so it finishes crisp and clean.

Note: Formerly known as Spring Peeper.

Bottle dated 12/20/2011, thanks to emileer. 02/29/2012. Pours slightly cloudy pale gold, nice three finger head with great retention, sudsy lacing. Great floral hop profile to the aroma, soft citrus and grapefruit, touch of pine, semi-sweet caramel malt underscored with a dryer biscuit character. Taste has pale malts kissed with lemon, hops more subdued when compared to the nose, not as much grapefruit, more earthy pine, orange, mild bitterness with dry finish. Medium light body, but crisp in the mouth with nice carbonation, flavors are nicely balanced. I was pleasantly surprised, this is a pretty great pale ale.

Bottle. Deep amber color...very fluffy head. Smells of pepper, spice and bread. Taste is hoppy and earthy but not overbearing, Itís like a weird hybrid of an APA, IPA and amber...whatever it is, I really like it.

A - Pours a clear golden-orange color with a finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades down fairly slowly leaving behind some nice lace. S - Aroma is a mix of pine and grapefruit hops with a sweet malty and bready backbone and a touch of spice. T - Starts off with a mix of citrus hops with some grapefruit flavor and a bit of sweet caramel malts. Through the middle some light bitterness comes through alongside some pine hop flavor and a bit of bready malt and a touch of spice and pepper. The finish is a mix of sweet bready malts with some grassy hops and some spice. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth wit ha dry lightly sweet and bitter finish. D - Very drinkable. Nice balanced American Pale Ale. There is a nice complexity to the malt profile that is balanced nicely by the hops.

bottle date 12/20/11. Nice straw yellow body with great white head. Smells if nicely freshly hopped beer. Surprising that its over 2 months old. Very fresh and spritely as a pale ale. Pretty awesome.

Bottle thanks to sanborn13. Slighty hazy pale gold with gentle carbonation and plenty of off-white head. Ultra-fresh, spicy pine and citrus. Flavor is clean citrus zest, lemon, mild pine, and some background bready malt. A tad thin, but makes it super sessionable. Lingering citrus candy. A winner.

Pours a murky deep and rustic pale golden color, slight olive drab, with a super thick white head. This beer took like 10 minutes for the head to settle to the point of drink-a-ability. Aroma is of fresh hops, slight pine, some sweetness behind those hops are also present, grain, and a little earthiness. Has good body, nice and medium palate. Flavor is a little more bitter than the nose would anticipate it being. I can taste the cascade hops, slight floral, and some pine. A little bit more on the dry side. The centennials definitely come through in the nose, but the cascade is more present in taste. Leaves a dry hop finish. A good olí American Pale Ale.

pours an extremely pale yellow color that is pretty cloudy and has a pillowy white head that lasts for a while. sweet citrus hops in the nose. taste is lovely american hops, slightly oily with great lasting and fresh flavor. malts keep it balanced but donít poke through so much as to allow the great hop flavors shine through. fantastic pale ale.

Bottle thanks to Steve! Pours a hazy peachy amber with a shite head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of citrus with some backing light flora, light grains and light fruit. Flavor has much more earthy grain and earthy fruit upfront and finishes with a bitter grapefruit note.

1 pint .9 ounce bottle. An interesting fruity, malty beer.Citrusy and fruity hops. I am digging the unique flavor, kind of rustic, a very independent brewery feel to the beer. I am enjoying this beer a lot.
