3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
unfortunately this bottle was about 5 months old. pretty nice drinking pale ale, but the hop fade is pretty evident, espeically reading other ratings. meh. the aroma is nice, has hints of bubblegum and strawberry. everything is still decent, but im sure its much better fresher.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
500ml bottle, LOT 07162011, consumed about 1 month out from bottling. The pour yields a beautiful, shiny, glowing golden amber body with a moderate, fluffy head of off-white foam. Slowly, the suds recede to a thin, smooth blanket, leaving small, hard, splotchy gatherings of lace on the glass. Pretty brew.
The nose is expertly, and I mean expertly balanced, showing an ultra-fresh malt base of clean cereal and just baked bread, with a dusty hop profile that suggests of dry grasses and crushed, dried flowers. Wisps of lemony citrus pith creep in, but play more of a background role. The softest possible kiss of honey lends just the right edge of subtle sweetness to the base. Damn....without even sipping it, you can tell that these guys know what the hell they are doing.
Flavors largely follow the lead of the nose, again showcasing supreme balance and restraint. Dry, lightly spicy yeast cuts through the subtly sweet wheat and cereal base like a knife. Biting lemon pith and dehydrated grass offer just the right degree of bitterness. Toasted Italian bread comes through on the dry, lengthy finish.
The palate manages to attain that rare, perplexing quality whereby each sip simultaneously quenches your thirst, then leaves your mouth dry and begging for another. I that sense, it achieves exactly what a session beer sets out to do. Carbonation is ultra fine and crisp, cleaning the tongue off and intensifying the spiciness of the yeast.
This is a mighty fine beer. Most will laugh it off as a simple Pale Ale, but to me, the beauty is in the perfectly balanced simplicity. This is the classic, expertly tailored, 2-button suit of Pale Ales. Simple, yes, but effective as hell. Color me impressed.

0.5L bottle, picked up@Ølbutikken, København. Shimmring, bright honey-golden. Dense cream-ish blond top. Delicious hop aroma; Summerflowers, apricot, sweet ripe oranges, and peppermint. Soft and clean malt body. Light to medium full, with a refined sweetness and a touch of peppery caramel. Clean and tight bitternss. Fruity hops for flavoring. Crisp on the palate. Properly light-bodied. Balanced hoppy, light malty ending. A very well made and moreish APA. Yummie!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A- Kind of cloudy and murky. A nice head forms on a regular pour and takes some time to dissipate. Serious foam left on the glass.
S- Nice, subtle hop profile, somewhat citrusy.
T- Very nice clean and refreshing. It’s not Lunch (which is fantastic!) but it’s a very solid offering from a company that appears to only make 4 beers so they should be making them right. Nice subtle hops with a dash of spice on the finish.
O- A truly nice and refreshing ale that hits the spot on a hot Florida summer day.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Moderate to heavy malt notes of cereal and nutty, moderate grass and pine for the hops, light to moderate dough and soap for the yeast, with hints of wood and pepper. Head is large, frothy, white with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is murky amber/orange. Flavor starts faintly sweet and moderately acidic, then the long finish is lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, a little slippery, with a lively carbonation and a lightly astringent finish. Great well rounded earthy aromas from this American Pale Ale, with some bold, if not sharp flavors.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Pours to a mostly clear golden-yellow body with a medium eggshell colored head. Aroma is some mild citrus, grassy, american hops, smells exactly like what you would expect from this style - fresh hops, but not as strong as an IPA. There are also some light hints of straw and pale malt. Taste is bitter hops up front (light grapefruit, citrus, mild pine), with a bit of malt coming through towards the middle, but it’s not sweet or cloying, finishes with extended grassy hop notes on the palate. Light-medium bodied, medium carbonated. Light, refreshing and hoppy without hitting the hop levels of an IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
My first from this pretty new brewery and I wish more pale ales were this good. A very hazy yellow body with tiny bubbles and a fluffy well retained head. The aroma is a very well balanced mix of light citrus, pine and biscuit malt. Also touches of honey and pear. That light fruit and honey comes through more int he front taste ending more with lemon and wheat malt. Great medium palate with refreshing carbonation. One of the better offerings for this style.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: Pours a cloudy gold with a sudsy head.
Aroma: Citrusy hops, spicy sweet malt.
Taste: A mix of spicy bitter hops and candied citrus. Very distinct yeast, honey covered biscuits. Finishes with bitterness that fades gracefully.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with modest carbonation.
Overall: Really really good. I could drink this tasty beer all day.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pale golden pour with a tight white head. The aroma is awesome. Lots of bright zesty almost noble citrusy hops with a lot of zesty/spicy character. A very crisp palate with a bright zesty aroma. Lean and light with a bit of peppery spicy character. There is a little bit of soft fruitiness and a very clean and bright hop character. My words haven’t really done the beer justice because they’ve absolutely nailed the balance between the hops and light lean malt. Fresh and zesty. One of the best, if not the best APA I’ve ever come across.
