Poured from a Pint bottle. First of all I love that they give 1% of sales to the planet! Clean simple label. Can already tell they are “too the point” type of brewery. Color is like ginger ale with lots of carbonation. ¼ inch white bubbly head. Aroma is soft combination of grapefruit and piney hops with a hint of citrus. Taste is much of the same, however the citrus quickly fades in the front directly into piney hops in the finish. Smooth mouthfeel leaving the finish dry. It’s clean, crisp and refreshing. Just like the label. I would drink again. And hope to try some of the other brews from this brewery. Thanks for sharing AirForceHops.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: APR 20, 2012 Bottle, purchased at Belfast Co-op - Belfast, ME. Big, crisp, clean tropical fruit and resin aroma. Amazingly balanced body and hop flavor and bitterness, with a great sparkle. Most APAs are either obligatory brewpub fare or phoned-in seasonals. Some are fun hop experiments. This speaks of classic style example. Detailed, subtle and stunning. The perfect pale ale, without trying to hit you over the head. I’m even more impressed that they did it in bottle-conditioned form.

16.9 oz bottle. Clear gold with lacy white froth. Nose is grass, honey, lemon and mild tea. Medium light with foamy carb just shy of crisp. Taste similarly with the grass and honey; yeasty with citrus pith. Simple, nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy orange gold body - sediment kicked up - with a lasting head. Pleasantly hoppy aroma. Citrus with a hint of pine. Nice bready caramel malt holding things up. Taste is yeasty and dry with nearly perfect bitterness. Extremely easy to drink. I love well-made pale ales that are dry and hoppy. A very good beer. Judged against the style, this would be in the 4.3+ range.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Initially poured a clear golden color, but towards the end of the bottle some of the yeast on stirred up giving it a nice cloudy look. Head was white and seemed to have good retention and beautiful lace. Initial aroma had a floral hop quality giving way to a nice malty backbone. Flavor was slightly bitter a good balance with pine like hops and floral hops. Malts were like toasted bread an very complementary to the hops. Finish was very crisp. Carbonation was slightly high but not in a negative way. Good beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear gold pour, thin white head, medium-heavy lacing. Aroma is very subtle, light hop aroma, something a little soapy is present too, I pick up some cloves too strangely enough. Flavor is bitter, nice hoppiness, quite grainy as well, a bit too much cereals for the style. Crisp and fresh, but off style according to me.
