An American-style ale brewed one barrel at a time. The malt bill is built on American two-row malt and accented by crystal 10, Vienna, and white wheat malts. Magnum hops give the beer a nice clean bittering and Amarillo, Cascade, and Centennial hop varieties provide a pleasant floral and citrusy hop flavor. A healthy dose of additional Amarillo and Centennial are dry hopped to give this beer an inviting hop aroma. The beer is fermented with a neutral yeast strain and allowed to dry out so it finishes crisp and clean.

Note: Formerly known as Spring Peeper.

Pours a light sunny yellow with mountains of rocky head. Aromas are soft fresh pine, and orange citrus. Very smooth with pine and citrus and tropical fruit. A world class beer.

Pale gold, good clarity. Nose is nectarine, lemon. Flavor is same plus pine accents, light orange zest, grainy/toasty/bready malt comes through near the finish. Ultra dry and light bodied.

Found at Total Wine in Charleston. Super Bowl brew. Sadly was a bit stale- check the dates Total Wine!- but can see the potential. Pretty light pour for a "pale"- light orange, white head. Hazy. Tons of citrus- dominant flavor. Notes of pine, floral and earth. Super crisp and dry in the finish. Not as much maltiness as I would expect from a pale. More hoppy/ bitter-slightly astrigent, even- and less sweet. Decent stuff. Well balanced. Would love to try on tap and super fresh.

Light haze to a golden pour. Aroma is sweet malt and citrus. Taste is citrus and pepper. Not bad, but not something I would search for.

Bottle at home. Chunky white head. Aroma is sour passionfruit and green stonefruits. Flavor is grassy, piney hops, some apricot and tropical fruits. Light bodied, lively carbonation. Clean, dry finish.

[Tap] Pours a golden color with a slight haze to it. Soapy head with nice lacing. Nose of spicy hops, lemongrass and pine needles. A crisp hoppiness is featured in the flavor. Citrus, spruce, floral hops, grass and peppercorns also come through. Nice balance. Dry finish is refreshing. Not cheap though!

Poured a slightly hazy gold with minimal head which dissipated quickly......aroma of sweet malts, citrusy fruit......taste is clean, crisp, citrusy, slight bittering but enough bite. Quite enjoyable.

Draft at Capital Ale House This APA poured a clear amber with a white head and very light lacing. The aroma was of pine and some lemon. This is mild pale ale but well balanced. It is an easy drinking pale ale for anytime. The light body ale had average carbonation. The finish was smooth with mild pine bitterness in the last swallow.

Crisp citrus hop aroma with a soft creamy note. Straw colored body with an amber tinge. A quarter inch pillow head that lingers a long time. Citrus hop bitter taste. Has a creamy quality that balances the bitter hop presence.

On tap at Ellynís in Glen Ellyn, IL., and dispensed to a tulip showing a clear & shimmering, golden hue, and fluffy, white foam that lowered itís head just a bit to a frothy layer, with clingy, curtainy rings of lacing. The nose was perfumey & expressive esters as grapefruit, light tropical scent, pineapple, and lemon. The taste was fresh, juicy & citrusy, with just the right mellowing touch of malt & sweetness. Medium bodied, with lively carbonation, the hop bitterness was dry & lingering, with citrus rind, and a bit of earthiness. Finished clean & crisp. Would gladly choose over many IPAs for bold hop character with a quaffable nature.
