COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American-style ale brewed one barrel at a time. The malt bill is built on American two-row malt and accented by crystal 10, Vienna, and white wheat malts. Magnum hops give the beer a nice clean bittering and Amarillo, Cascade, and Centennial hop varieties provide a pleasant floral and citrusy hop flavor. A healthy dose of additional Amarillo and Centennial are dry hopped to give this beer an inviting hop aroma. The beer is fermented with a neutral yeast strain and allowed to dry out so it finishes crisp and clean.

Note: Formerly known as Spring Peeper.

Pours a very pale yellow, clear until yeast sediment makes it way in from the bottom of the bottle. Large, very long lasting pure white head. Wheat content appears to be apparent. Aroma is citrus hops. Flavor is very lightly earth and floral citrus hops followed by a grapefruit. and light pineapple finish. Just enough malt backbone to hold it together, yet clearly light enough in nature to be an APA vs an IPA. Not bad. Didn’t love it, but not bad.

Bottle from Gianni - thanks! Pours a clear golden color with a very large and rocky white head. Aroma is dry, understated hop with some bitterness and a clean malt backbone. Taste is light bitterness from the hops with a light pepper character and an almost lager-like malt profile. I don’t think this bottle was particularly fresh but it’s still a nice, easy drinking beer. Worth a try.

Secret Santa 2012 - Thanks! Cloudy gold, big dense white head. Clean and crisp, soapy ( in a good way), with some subtle crackery malt notes. Smooth malts and a big, assertive hp finish. Nicely dry, as well. Born on 9/28/12, consumed 12/14/12. Simple and very tasty.

At Lord Hobos. Good aroma, sweet. Citrusy. Lemon grapefruit, little perfumy. Clean orange gold color, good initial head that quickly faded to a ring, spotty lace. Bittersweet flavor medium body, creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish. Pretty darn tasty, not sure it’s 9 dollar a glass tasty. Real nice aroma, kept up as it warmed. Flavor was more straigjt foward bitterness, on the grapefruit side of things.

Poured from 500 ml bottle. Hazy, bright yellow with large, billowing off-white head and very good lacing. Aroma of lots of lemon, black pepper, grain and grapefruit. Taste of lemon, caramel, floral hops grain. Starts like a light refreshing saison, but leaves a bitter taste on the tongue. Medium/light body and medium carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
