pours an extremely pale yellow color that is pretty cloudy and has a pillowy white head that lasts for a while. sweet citrus hops in the nose. taste is lovely american hops, slightly oily with great lasting and fresh flavor. malts keep it balanced but don’t poke through so much as to allow the great hop flavors shine through. fantastic pale ale.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour is slightly hazy yellow with a thin but dense white head. Nose is grains and malty sweetness with a fruity hop bouquet. A bit soapy. Taste is caramel malts first followed by a light long pine hop bitterness. All accompanied by citrus and herbal flavors. Dry finish. Great mouth feel!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Slightly haze, pale straw & pear colored body with a super foamy, chunky, & long-lasting head; bright white & vibrant. Aroma of zesty grass, perfume, light florals, & a mild fruity sweetness from the blend of pale malts & hops that’s very reminiscent of Fruity Pebbles. Flavor is a touch watery, but contains that same Fruity Pebble-esque hoppage up front. Mild citrus, tropical notes, wet grass, lemon zest, citrus peel, & a hint of grainy malts towards the finish. Light bodied, light finish. Another nice pale ale from Maine, though I’d choose MO over this.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is lemon grass, clove, grapefruit and citrus. Taste is light sweet malts which transition to a medium bitterness that is fairly strong but finishes smoothly with slight tartiness. Appearance is a hazy gold/orange with pearl white head that retains fairly well.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York. Cloudy yellow in colour with a large and long lasting white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is highly hoppy, lots of fruit, pale malts. The flavour is of citrus, floral hops, fruity, light malt, moderate bitterness. Finishes long, bitter, citrusy. Quite nice.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Picked up a bottle while in Chicago. This one pours a bright deep yellow. Very fogged. An aggressive white colored head. A mild aroma of lemon zest and a slight hop bitterness. A yeasty bready taste. Full hop malt and a mostly fruited hop character balanced with a floral background. The lemon zest flavor comes back in the end. Good stuff. Very drinkable. Very dry finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500 ml bottle to half-pint glass (thanks DuffMan). Bottled on 05/13/14, so it’s a little beyond the suggested 90-day window, but I’m going to enjoy and rate it anyway. Looks good; a hazy apricot with ample foamy eggshell head. Smell is lots of citrus with a medium-bodied bittersweet malt backbone. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. I’d like to revisit it fresh off the bottling line, but it’s still pretty damn good right now.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
50cl bottle from Mr A’s in Palatine. Best by bottle date says "12C313" with a 114 over further right? Seriously, what is that? Pours golden orange with a white head. Looks belgian. Aroma appears to have dead hops all over the place, so I guess that answers the bottle date question. Sweet malty, some orange juice. Blah. Citrus and sweet malts in the flavor. Old barnyard. Sigh. Will have to find another sometime. 11.8.
