3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Blonde pâle et légèrement voilée, coiffée d’une mousse immaculée qui dure un bon bout de temps. Au nez, des arômes de houblon floral à souhait et citronné semblent occuper toute la place. Des effluves maltées viennent me contredire. En bouche, c’est évidemment amer, c’est poivré et c’est quelque peu résineux. Une belle impression en bouche malgré sa minceur. Encore une fois, merci Louis. (Embout. 26 oct ’12) (506-030113)

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Hegedorns. Nice grapefruit and lemon nose, lightly grassy, very light, crisp malts. Bright gold, slightly cloudy, low, fine head. Great hoppy flavor. Clean bready malts, grapefruit, lemon, crackers, hay, pine, light tropical fruits. Very bitter finish. Dry indeed. Good stuff. Great drinkability; just a bit too bitter and dry.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at Ginger Man NYC. Clear pale orange color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and roast malt. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, tropical fruit and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at Atwood’s. Pours a hazy golden with a thin white head, and moderate lacing. Buckets of citrus, super ripe tropical fruit, light caramel on the nose. Light sweetness, and big citric hop bitterness. Delicious flavour. No body at all, nice carbonation with a citric finish. Cracking light ipa.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Reviewed from notes. On tap at Great Lost Bear. Consumed March 26, 2012.
The appearance was a clear light golden colored body with a decent amount of carbonation heading towards the top. The lacing was spotty and ringy. When the bartender gave the beer to me, there wasn’t any head whatsoever.
The smell had mainly citrus backed up by some pine. The hops are pretty balanced throughout.
The taste was the pine and citrus hops with a slight bit of a grassiness.
On the palate, she sits about a light to medium, is fairly sessionable, crisp, sweet clean aftertaste and finish. She was slightly watery at times but at other times had a moderate amount of harshness, weird but no complaints.
Overall, this is an excellent choice of a beer. Its good for the style and good for me, however this could be close to an AIPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From the 650 ml. bottle dated 10-03-13. This is bottle fermented so the golden-yellow pour has a haze to it along with a lacing cream to off-white colored head. This has a nice hop character mingling with the toasted grain and biscuit malts. The hops are bit more forward reminding me a bit of an IPA. Light to medium body. The flavor has a keen toastiness to it but the citrus character brings itself forward more so in the flavor than on the nose.

I was a little hesitant about buying this beer. It has such a simple label and almost zero explanation on the bottle. But am I glad that I picked it up. This is an amazing light ale. Super light golden color with a sweet sweet smell of hops. With the first sip your mouth explodes with hoppy and citrus flavors. Its a very well rounded flavor, with sweet, bitter deliciousness. For such a light colored beer it has way more character than meets the eye. It goes down smoothly, and doesn’t leave any bitter or dissatisfying after taste. This is a beer that anyone can enjoy, anytime, anywhere. And is something that you just know you’ll end up drinking more than you expected because its so damn good. I highly recommend this beer to all you avid beer drinkers.
