Any first impressions?
-A thick head collapses onto hazy deep golden.
-Timidity is a burden for the citrusy hops and their wooden dryness.
-A clean maltiness produces honeyed grain in a not too expressive flavor profile.
-The soft carbonation lets you feel the malt adequately.

What if you dig deeper?
-Chalky dryness is found in the back, which is barely hopped, apparently.
-Apricot-like fruitiness helps the quenching factor.
-Bready notes are later discovered after much searching in the aroma.
-This felt like a styleless strong blond ale, which has nothing especially wrong with it, but which got seriously boring before the halfway mark in the pint.

On tap at the brewery restaurant.

Gethinbeer (1570) - Musky, Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAR 22, 2009
On tap at Jack Russells Brewpub. Golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet and sour aroma. Reminds me of Crab, lobster, toilet water, dishwasher water. The flavour is blah with hints of citrus. Sour ale. as you can tell I didn’t enjoy this one.
