3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 eaglefan538 (2735) - Wilmington, USA - AUG 16, 2011
Draft at the brewpub. The color was light golden orange, lacing and head decent. The aroma was earthy and spicey hops with a faint pine presence. The flavor was light caramel, earthy, spicy hops, some citrus in there too. Mouthfeel moderate for the style, carbonation on target. A nice IPA, good finishing bitterness.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 patrick767 (2843) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 13, 2011
tap at the brewpub - Pours orange-gold with a small, lingering white head. The aroma includes notes of citrus and florals. It tastes of sweet caramel malt with at most moderate bitterness. This beer is light bodied and a bit watery, an underwhelming effort.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Braudog (4607) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - AUG 22, 2011
Draft at the scene of the crime. Light in color, this initially poured with a huge head ... but me thinks the restaurant has the CO2 turned up too high. Although relatively active, this beer doesn’t have the body you’d expect. The aroma is extremely subdued as well, as are any flavor components whatsoever. Although cleanly made (no infections or imperfections), this has no distinguishable characteristics worth talking about, particularly for anything labeled an IPA. (#4220, 8/22/2011)
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 thicksuds (279) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 30, 2011
Pretty enjoyable IPA, a bit light on the hops, but still very enjoyable, almost more like a pale ale, golden brown color, lacking a bit in the flavor department, but is a pretty good IPA
