COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a cherry-rose color, our blueberry mead has a clean, honey-like aroma with berry notes. The medium body features subtle hints of blueberries and raspberries accompanied by a slight acidity, balancing the sweetness of honey for a delightful and fresh wine.

Bottle from rayr in rockport, me. I was looking forward to this and it is unfortunately pretty awful. I was drinking it and my mom said it tasted like strong manaschevitz. Thats pretty accurate, this one of the worst meads ive had which is a shame.

750 ml bottle. Pours a lovely clear reddish purple with no head. This is a still mead. Unfortunately, this is this meads finest attribute. Mild aroma of sweet honey with very weak blueberry. The flavor is even weaker than the aroma and tastes very watered down. Watery body leaves nothing on the palate. Disappointing.

A burgundy red mead with a light clover honey aroma, with light blueberry notes. In mouth, nice smooth honey with light blueberry mash, a bit of astringency, corky notes. Tasted April 8th, bottle gift from Billy B.

Pours a nice reddish purple. Light berry aroma with mild honey notes. Very watery in flavor the berry is barely there. Subtle honey sweetness but overall not much going on.

Taste from a 750 ml bottle at the meadery. Pours a clear violet color with no head or carbonation to be found. Really nice, fresh blueberry aroma- not surprising given how many blueberry farms we drove by in Maine- with some backing honey, oak, and cranberry. Flavor of blueberries, honey, grapes, and oak. Light-medium bodied, with a fruity, slightly acidic mouthfeel and minimal carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle courtesy of Tim and Rachel, pours an interesting red/blue, not much of an aroma, sweet perhaps, this is extremely dry, alcohol is front and center, I’m having issues finishing my small glass.

Bottle @ Novare Res. Pours a purple blue with a little few bubbles. Aroma is of blueberries, sweet honey, clover, and alcohol. Flavor is a little weird...it’s very dry and nice, but has a slightly odd acidic bite to it. I like the attempt at this, a great idea for sure. Plus it was served cold which made it kind of an odd experience. Much better as it warmed.
