COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brilliant gold in color, this honey wine delivers the essence of nectar. A medium body and elegant flavor, is rich and smooth that carries through to a round creamy finish. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled as an aperitif or with dessert. Pairing suggests: strong cheeses, dried fruits or nuts.

750 ml bottle. Pours a pale gold with no head. This is a still mead. The aroma is lovely with nice clean sweet honey and perhaps a few floral notes. The flavor is much more watered down and the flavor is short-lived on the palate. Lightly sweet as the name suggests.

Pours golden a shade lighter than the dry mead. Aromas of honey and wax. Flavor is very watery. Honey and water that is about it. Mildly sweet but overall fairly tasteless.

Taste from a 750 ml bottle at the meadery. Looks just like the Dry Mead, with a pale golden hue and legs, no head. Aroma of honey, white wine, and oak. Flavor of honey, white wine, apples, oak, and faint floral notes. Medium-bodied, with a smooth, sweet mouthfeel and no carbonation. Adds a little complexity and balance to the Dry Mead base.

Strong aroma of savory herb and spices. Flavor is rather thin, though, and watery. Finish evaporates instantly.

The good stuff! This is a wonderful slightly sweet mead, aroma is sweet honey, some hints of vinous scents, a little clove, and a hint of alcohol. Flavors are great! It’s a perfect amount of sweet and dry. Let it warm! It’s great with a nice Cabot cloth bound cheddar. YUM!
