COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
My interpretation of a typical Bavarian wheat, refined with a little bit more hops and the intense aroma of our very own wheat beer yeast. Bold and surprising.
Typical but yet so different. Deep cassis notes mix with Oriental spices and create a fruity, spicy finish.

I invite you to enjoy a refreshing treat for all your senses.

Yours,
Jeff Maisel

Aroma: cloves, bananas, herbs, citrus and pine. Appearance: hazy amber gold color, nice white head. Taste: medium bitterness (citrus and pine), cloves, some banana notes, nice malty backbone, alcohol is well-covered. Palate: full body and medium carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Quite decent weizenbock.

My Bottom Line:
Lightly buttered toast and caramel meet citrus fruit and their mild acidity before sweet pear juice and oxidation take over this strange brew.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the cloudy amber.
-Peach marmelade is also found within. This is too sweet for what they are attempting.
-Cardboard notes get more and more bothersome.
-Effervescence and acidity help drinkability nonetheless.

Bottle.

Bottle, 04/10/14. Pours a hazy dark orange with a large, beige head. Aroma is banana, clove, marzipan, yeast. Taste is semi-sweet, medium banana, quite a bit of clove, some what, quite a lot of marzipan, Belgian strong ale-style. Somewhat spicy. Fairly full with medium carbonation.

Dark orange, a bit hazy, very full and stable head. Aroma: a bit sourness, fruity and elderflowers. Tastes much more intensive: hoppy, berries, cassis, peach. Decent bitterness. Full body, notes of caramel at the end.

ruman ruskeaa. vaahto häviää nopeasti. sahti/kotikalja tyyliä mennään. makeutta. maku jatkaa samoilla linjoilla. hapan. belgityylistä hevostallia. miellyttävät hapot mutta vähän ohkaiseksi jää suuntuntuma, vaikea valita 3-4 välillä.

750 ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. Served comfortably chilled. Bubbly, patchy surface to a hazy ,apricot coloured body. Rich and aromatic with notes of fresh apricot and orange. Fresh mid-sweet taste of apricot, herbs, and mild marmalade. Smooth bittersweet fruity finish. Fine bodied. A well crafted brew (session at Finns in Tromsø, 05.08.2014).

75cl bottle at home shared with a friend. Pale amber with a full slightly off-white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Well balanced bitter- and sweetness. Pine, peach, grapefruit, wheat and herbs. A nice bitter German brew.
