My interpretation of an Irish stout, with an extra portion of choice barley, special and aromatic malts to give the beer its distinctive full-bodied flavor. A robust beer of deep, dark color with an aroma of roasted malt combined with the taste of sweet caramel, delicious dark chocolate notes and a hint of wild berries.

Sit back and enjoy a firework of flavors and aroma.

Foam is solid and sustained and exudes an elegant aroma of light chocolate notes. The taste is potent of hard roasted sweet malt with slightly burnt tones that sets a fine edge to an otherwise slightly sweet beer. The light chocolate notes arises towards the end and carry it against a fine hoppy bitterness. The brewery calls his beer for ’our interpretation of a bitter Irish stout’. Yes, there are a few moments on the malt side there is a little reminiscent dry stout, but I certainly think it is more bock than it is stout.

Aroma: roasted, chocolate. Taste: moderate sweeteness, light bitterness and light sourness. Flavour: chocolate, coffee, some ash. Burned bitterness in the aftertaste. It seems that this is stout, not bock. Pleasant beer.
